  • nice sound im looking to get a muffler on the same truck but i dont know what size of muffler to get what did you have to do to get it on because the stock muffler now is 31in's and i cant fins anything of that length. Thanks please reply!

  • @Subz3r097 if you take it into a muffler shop to get it intsalled then it will not matter what size your mufler is. they will weld in a piece of straigh pipe to make up for the difference in size and will only charge you for the two welds

  • @stlcarroll Thanks a lot i have one more question do you know what the inlet pipe is going into the muffler when it was stock? thanks!

  • Do you have the stock cats still on? or what?

  • @Lightfoot713 yea its all stock but the muffler. im thinking of going to 40 series SI/DO dumped

  • @Lightfoot713 yea. just a muffler swap

  • I blew my flowmaster 40 out in week... wouldnt do anthing about it so i bought the Thrush Welded Muffler for my 02 Silverado 5.3 SCLB sounds just as good for about 1/3 of the cost. 3in sigle In dual 2.5 out dumped at the rear. Love every minute of it.

  • whats the best flowmaster for the loudest sound on an f-150

  • hmm well ive been told that the super 44 was the loudest but it actually wasnt as loud at the original 40 series i had on my '00 expedition. i dont know if its cuz the f150 has 4 cats instead of 2 or what. if you could find an original single chamber 10 series that would for sure be the loudest. they are all gonna have a great sound tho for sure

  • What did it end up costing you with instalation and everything?

im probably going to do the same thing to my f150

  • about $200. it was a pretty good deal and setup for minimal cost

  • thats pretty decent price, i went to a local muffler shop and they told me it would cost around $280 all together...but they said that they dont recommend getting a flowmaster because they "fall apart"

have you had any problems with yours at all?

  • @BeforeTheUnseen my dad got flowmaster put on his old 5.0 ford and hes had it for aqround 2 to 2.5 years never had a problem.

  • @BeforeTheUnseen nope. ive been runnin em for about 5 years now and done nothin but turn heads

  • @stlcarroll yeah 200 aint bad! i bought my 44 for about 91 bucks plus 48 on install than again a separate time for my 3.5 inch tip which was 42 bucks and 30 on install so $211 bucks which aint bad i dont think! gotta love em 44 and 40 are equally as loud 10 as they are both 2 chamber and agressive version flows. yeah the single chamber 10 series and outlaw series are gonna be the loudest i tihnk as flows go and the brand new super 10 series is THE LOUDEST THEY'VE EVER MADE!

  • thats a sexy truck

  • Sounds good, are you going to go with high flow cats down the road?

  • i think im gonna be goin true dual super 44 first and see where i am there and how i like it. what setup do you have exactly?

  • My setup is a true duel with a Magnaflow X pipe and two Super 44s with gutted cats.

  • what kind of rims and what size tires do you have? i like that setup

  • 18" ATX Mace wheels with 285/65 BFGs, this summer I'll be getting some Nitto 295/70R18s

  • sounds good. is that stock tubing?

  • thanks. ya i just replaced the muffler and tip
