  • 15 seconds would've sufficed.

  • @pyromaneak47 Depends what you're doing. If you're doing a TT or a steep climb obviously the rpm is going to be different than if you're on flat in a big group.

  • @pyromaneak47 actually the ideal cadence is between 85-100, 60 rpm means your running to heavy of a gear ratio. Be nice to your knees and spin

  • thank god, i wouldve never figured that out.

  • are those doc martens?

  • Have anything to back up this little claim, Mr. Video Man?

  • @Commando303X Look at the position of SPD pedals / Cleats.

  • this video isn't actually 60 sec but 62 OMG!!

  • Mmmmm nice Dr Marten shoes!

  • Recumbents are a different story, however, ...

  • I find more sprinting power is available with the ball of your foot over the spindle, but the center of the foot can be more comfortable. For mountain biking, much better balance and stability can be attained pedaling from the centre of your foot, with cleats or flats.

  • I think you are to Puritan in your Ideas, most People have been Cycling all their Lives with their Feet between the Ball of the Foot and the Heel and are quite comfortable doing it. Only Competition Cyclists would worry about where to put their Feet because of their Equip telling them so.

I have seen this before and corrected the way I put my Feet but the next Day I hop on my Bike and my Feet naturally finds their way back to the Hollow between the Ball and Heel, whatever works for you is good.

  • #

frickenmike Its a cannondale lefty fork bike.

  • ok what happens when you jump like that i would say broken ankles and no more balls

  • I see people cycle with the wrong foot position all the time I just dont understand how they dont notice.

Its like walking just on your heels.

  • the fork only has 1 side

  • There was more footage of the incorrect way than the correct way.

  • Apollo Slant FTW

  • Ok, cool.

  • il go kill myself now

  • @shercoogsherco are you done? ;-)

  • @JesseReith1 I failed. Help me one day :D

  • @shercoogsherco Haha, just joking ;-p. I'll remind you when i'm 80? ok?

  • @JesseReith1 Offcource. Fell free to do what ever you want to do, life is too short too live regretts :P

  • @shercoogsherco ;-) agreed

  • Music pissis me off a good bit

  • i think this video could fit in 20 seconds

  • 45 seconds too long!

When you sprint, do you run on your heel? no, you're up on the balls of your feet because our legs are built to work best that way

  • fail, fail, fail

  • clips are way better, nice pedals tough

  • i do it the rong way then, but i ride bmx so i think its different

  • yeah i agree i ride urban/DJ and Downhill/freeride bikes so for that riding it varies from ball of foot to middle worst case scenario back of foot on occasion ha

  • @motocrosser

ye you sometimes cant controll where it goes and often dont matter either

when i ride my rode bike i have to remind myself to go on the front more

  • haha yeah im the same way xP its funny though if theres another biker who wants to race you down the street you tend to get that natural reaction to slam onto the balls of your feet and go for it haha

  • @motocrosser

i do love beeting them fools in there lycra when im in my hoody and skinny jeans

  • HA yeah im more the baggy black cargo pants and baggy hoodie with skate shoes and a beanie or hat or so and riding cruise style haha

  • well cruise style but still racing style haha just in a relaxed way haha

  • nice bike!!!!!!!

  • Those pedals are designed for normal flat shoes like a lot of people wear in and out of work. They're quite good as they sucker to the sole iirc.

  • use click pedals , look

  • Urban Cannondale!!!

  • 1 <3 those pedals

  • i love tha pedals! but they cant be so usefull..

  • They came with the Cannondale Bad Boy, and I like the fact they're distinctive.

  • those are some unique pedals.
