  • This is in Canada, and pretty accurate.

  • This is so funny, this is made in '09. Everything that liberal said Obama has already acted on and continues to do so.

  • @invasionB Obama insisted the troops would come home 'first thing' if he was elected...it took a full four years. He's lied through his teeth to the American people from day 1.

  • @HannibalBEATNGU Oh yeah I know I'm agree with you. I'm just saying that most people thought Obama would never do anything a conservative would do...and the rest we know. Yeah the military left Iraq but the moved to Afghanistan. Some promise eh?

  • Did yo boy Obama bring home troops like he promised?

  • more like 'conservative bashing', not saying i am conservative it looks more like that

  • Ron Paul 2012!

  • it's ally and horde

  • "fighting climate change"?Thats arrogant nonsense. Is anyone stupid enough to believe we control the climate?LOL Also, the only candidate who wants to bring the troops home is a conservative.Fairly stoopid video

  • That's funny. I could have sworn that the main selling point of Apple products was their simplicity and ease of use, thus requiring less intelligence to use.

    What a bullshit video.

  • lol im a libertarian

  • Obama aint like this liberal

  • HAHA this video is so great now! hmmm looks like its post 2011 and we still aren't out of Afghanistan. Shakin my head. I know even 75% of democrats knew President Obama was full of it. But for these guys...priceless

  • @nate2354 I hope you realize this video is about the liberals and conservatives of Canada.

  • I hate democrats

  • ha ha ha.... ha.... ha..... liberals are so self-righteous

  • "When I was in charge?" Uhhh, Congress makes the budgets, and Congress was Republican those years. This is typical liberal drivel- absolute bullshit.

  • Comment removed

  • Hey. Gotta love the "PC vs. Mac" reference. Actually, for an "evil" company, Microsoft's Bill Gates actually treated his employees better than Steve Jobs did!

  • There are no more conservative or liberal choices for president. The same stupid policies that have gotten our country into the big hole it's in have been perpetuated by both parties for decades.

  • Where's the Libertarian to school them both?

  • Moderate Master Race reporting in.

  • Surpluses that your had to BORROW money for. Where did you get that money? FROM TAXPAYERS. LOL!

  • @evelsteev would you prefer money from tax payers, or the chinese?

  • @eddieisfiction I prefer NO income tax at ALL. American's didn't pay Fed taxes until the early part of the 20th century. Some good THAT did. LOL

  • @evelsteev yeah what good ever came of that... like not being invaded by germany or japan, or not going homeless.... yeah all that stupid stuff that no one needs.

  • @eddieisfiction We weren't "invaded" by Germany, brainiac. You ever heard of WAR BONDS??? We raised $186 billion for the war, through VOLUNTARY means. If anything, the government robbed Peter to pay Paul. They took taxes, RIGHT out of our paychecks for the 1st time, and still do it, to this day. No thanks.

  • @evelsteev did you also no that they taxed the industries much higher than then they ever did previously... heck even today taxes are tame as compared to then... plus on top of that, they raised money through war bonds.... very nice and conenient for you to leave things out eh?

  • @eddieisfiction and then, when they STOPPED taxing us so much, the economy got better. It was known as the Post-War economic boom. Nice to leave THAT out, eh? We should get out of ALL the wars. It's costing us too much money!

  • @evelsteev of course it did... but at least before they dropped the taxes, they tried to pay for things.... do you understand that?

another note, if it wasnt for investing into the veterans college futures, that boom also wouldnt have happened.

  • @eddieisfiction yeah, AGAINST our will! As if Americans didn't want to contribute to the war. Again, American paid $185 Billion in War Bonds. Do you know what that bought in military infrastructure? TONS. College has been paid, more successfully with grants and scholarships, that DON'T have to be paid back, as opposed to your lovely FAFSA loans. Again, NO THANKS

  • @evelsteev it was the GI bill that did it, the same GI bill we use to this day.

    Stop confusing different subjects.

  • @eddieisfiction WHAT GI bill? That's shit is running out! Grants is were it's at.

  • @evelsteev lets step back for a second, we are talking about at the end of world war 2. Remember, not today... also its not really running out, infact the GI bill has amazing benefits nowadays.. I know, I took part in it. I dont care what you think is happening when its not.

  • @eddieisfiction Then I don't care either. Have fun in North Korea, or Cuba. They don't have a free market either. LOL

  • @evelsteev actually Ill have fun in america, because Im independent, liberals go to cuba, and conservatives go to the middle east;) Enjoy

  • @eddieisfiction So am I. But unlike you, I want voluntary contributions, not taxation, against our will.

  • @evelsteev i want a combination of everything that prevents any extremism to begin with. No extreme of anything... unlike you

  • @eddieisfiction Name one country that does that. A free market economy (not the crony capitalism that's going on now, thanks to bad government) doesn't make anything "extreme;" it allows people to come out of poverty.

  • This is the bullshit that misinformed dumbasses believe.

  • Conservative:"Hey liberal, how is nationalized government run healthcare going to help us?"

    Liberal:"uhhh...well you see uh......."

  • liberals....if you don't agree with them then you're stupid. Great argument.

  • lots of people are just liberals because it's the cool thing to do. this video shows it perfectly. just remember when germany was in a vulnerable position, remember how everybody blindly trusted some guy who came out of nowhere to lead their country, thinking he would turn the country around and lead everyone to victory. history always repeats itself, this is a proven fact... think before you vote!!

  • @phazan Ergo if you are a liberal it means you are a secret Nazi? Wow.

  • It's kind of sad that they compare people buying PCs to voting Conservative. Being a conservative is veritably unfit for the modern globalized worlds. Macs are veritably overpriced for a little bit of "polish" on them. Unless you're doing actual graphic design, a Mac is a waste of your money and you're one of those "folks is dumb" folks.

  • retards, wouldnt be surprised if there gay too

  • Taking a look at the impressive dislike bar, I think I'll pass on this one.

  • A terrible and unfunny abuse of liberal control of Canadian media to attack political enemies and suppress opposition. They rely on subsidies for elections, and subsidize the media so they can control it. The liberals have taxed the people to the hilt, given them a poor health care system, and regulated their lives to no end. Its no wonder why the Conservatives are in power.

  • 5 surpluses in a row is not the doing of liberals. look into it if you think a democrat president set that in motion.

  • @cinjimbo1 Bill Clinton can be considered to be liberal judging by his policies.

  • they did bring the troops home.. sorta lol

  • 1. You come off a little elitist.

    2. Folks is dumb.

Ah. Okay. So calling everyone who disagrees with you "dumb" is being "a little elitist"...got it, guy who wrote this video.

  • You guys realise that this is Canadian and pretty accurate right?

  • >implying PCs are better then Macs

  • Generalizations may work for computers but they can't for people's opinions. Not all Liberals are like that and not all Conservatives are like that and certainly not all Liberals are alike just as all Conservatives are not all alike.

  • @NoFaceNowThatsAce I like it

  • What was the point of this video? To bash macs or the republican party?

  • @Herimia Probably neither since this is a Canadian sketch. They have the Conservative (Tory), Liberal, New Democrat, and Bloc Quebecois parties. The old Reform Party is apparently dead.

  • @Herimia Steve jobs is a conservative isn't he?

  • @Herimia Very big successful business.

  • Libertarians!!! You may be one but not know it.

  • liberal or whatever we can at least admit most republicans are stupid

  • @TheDrewManXD

Both establishment republicans and democrats are stupid and traitorous.

  • @PersonguydudeWB holy shit i just did a lot of research and I should be a liberal

  • @TheDrewManXD

Unless you like the government taking about 50% (on average) of your income, be a libertarian. :)

  • the lesson?the liberal waits for the conservative to get done working for his money so he can put his hand out for his "fair" share of it.

  • Forget liberals and forget conservatives. They are both authoritarians of different stripes.

  • @SirTenenbaum Forget libertarians too. They are whiney pussies that shout "Hitler" at the thought of doing anything remotely sensible.

  • @CoonAndFriends2 This.

  • @kelustuful Ehm?

  • @CoonAndFriends2 Seriously? You could have written something substantive that would have led to healthy discussion, but you chose to write that.

  • @SirTenenbaum Really? I wrote a short sentence giving an opinion (albeit not explained) about libertarians. Pretty much the same thing you did for liberals and conservatives.

  • @CoonAndFriends2 I feel sorry for you and wish you the best.

  • @SirTenenbaum Likewise.

  • @SirTenenbaum Hell yes.

  • @SirTenenbaum I don't necessarily disagree with you - but please, tell me that you're not a Randroid.

  • Liberals are smug and pretentious? Video makes a good point.

  • I get that people are offended watching this, but why can't we get along. Personally I am a conservative, I feel that government that is closer to the people is more likely to get the people what they need. This being said, I do admit to having quite a few liberal veiws, especially when it comes to social issues. People assume that they know my veiws, people need to learn that oe cannot simply place someone under a stereotype, especially when it comes to politics in the present day. Thank you.

  • just look at the dislike bar, 500 liberals for every 1400 conservatives, forget it liberals, you can't win with your flawed ideals.

  • this video depicts that conservatives dont know things that is exactly wrong liberals are just a bunch of uneducated people who think they know everything in the world and dont allow anyone to tell them wrong and they spend more and more and now it has evolved into something worse, liberalism is a cancer of the earth and needs to be treated, because if liberal ideas are kept, the world will plummet to who knows what?

  • how self centered to think this

  • this video probably wouldn't have a lightsaber for the dislike bar if it was put up before Obama got elected, not after he did worse then this republican tool here.

  • It's not that only Republicans screw up, it's that Republicans screw up more.

  • you are an 1diot if you think only republicans screw up, everyone in the gov't screws up, but is prefer conservatism only if they prefer smaller gov't, because the bigger the gov't the bigger mess they make and we the people suffer, that's why i hate liberals they don''t see this argument blinded by liberal ideology not knowing they're licking the blade that's going to kill them.

  • I <3 liberal!!!!!

  • because when you were in charge their wasnt a war or global recession you fucking liberal! but dont get me wrong im not a big fan of the conservatives, they've been fucking up more then usual lately and its starting to piss me off

  • Its expensive having the liberals spending, regulating, citizens of Ontario into the largest debt in Canada,s history. Worse than California debt in the USA. People in Ontario are so stupid ,the city people re-elected the Liberals.

  • hmmm looks like noone has brought the Troops home yet.....both partys fail! Time for a Revolution!!! RON PAUL!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Sportslover257 hes not gonna win

  • @Mystery072 If he got a vote for every person that spouted that poison... he would have mathematically won the popular vote 2 times over! besides, WHO ELSE IS THERE?!

  • I love how shameless the bias is.

Clinton was one guy, and he really wasn't super liberal.

And weren't the Republicans in control of the house at that time? They played a part too.

Deficit spending was started by FDR, Truman kept it going, and Obama is the worst deficit spender yet.

Most Repubs are very guilty of it too, but to say Liberals don't do it is ridiculous.

  • Surplus? (could it have been-fudged numbers and raiding Social security)....BUT....Thanks to Newt for his balance budget. That was part of the Republican contract to America. Not only the balanced budge the republicans also overhauled welfare. Again..this was all in the "contract to America"...that Clinton took credit for.

  • @Ninefingers1010 Didn't Newt want a national police force? And didn't he also want clinton-care?

  • Liberals are funny, mostly cuz they're a big joke

  • FUCK LIBERALS

  • Pfft.

"Look at me, I'm automatically better because I'm on Red Team!"

  • Is it just me or does that kid have the most punchable face...

  • Interesting that they accuse the "conservative" of being for all the buy american stuff. Conservatives tend to support free markets and they obviously haven't been listening to all the rhetoric demonizing "outsourcing". Which is of course when a business buys a good or service from non american sources. The buy american stance is more of a liberal/democrat position.

  • Why would the US back off buy american stuff?

  • ... Liberals and conservatives both love war. Remind me again about how Obama brought the troops home from Afghanistan and didn't launch Tomahawk missiles into Libya? Oh? that's not what happened? For some reason I'm not surprised.

  • @intoxicated12gauge LBJ and vietnam.

  • @rb3264 Exactly, and the same could be said of Nixon about the same war on the other side of one political party that we currently have. Hell, Obama pulled a Nixon by running as the anti-war candidate and then not pulling us out of the war after the people voted for him because of that reason. It's so fucking frustrating. If Ron Paul doesn't get the GOP nomination (and he prolly won't) I'm voting honey badger, because there's no point in voting for one of the mainstream candidates.

  • Stupid video! I want my minute back!

  • @MrAtomicBalls Part of spelling wisdom is that the word u're

  • A worthless video. stereotyping liberals as some slacker of society and a well dressed conservative who is just crunching financial numbers.

what if your ideas dont fall under either liberal or conservative ideology? what if the are apart of both? could you still be a liberal or a conservative in that instance?

  • Liberals have to hire actors to find stupid conservatives, but conswervatives and libertarians don't need to hire actors to find stupid liberals.

  • @BelieversinThings

    Meanwhile,on the real world.

  • @TheThordir You're a liberal? Let's try to make each other look stupid, I'll go first. Liberals are people who only look at the surface intentions, and ignore the actual unintended results. Less people move out of poverty now than before the war on poverty. The quality of education has diminished since the federal government took it over to improve it. Medical costs have skyrocketted after medicare and medicaid were introduced to make health care more affordable. Your turn.

  • @BelieversinThings

Yawn. I'm more into clasical liberalism. In other words, I'm socially liberal, but I'm also a minarchist. I'm waiting for your next attack.

  • @TheThordir Social liberalism supports welfare, affirmative action, and other government programs to help people. Minarchism is basically libertarianism. You can't be a minarchist and a social liberal. Your arrogant "yawn" followed by big words you don't understand makes you look stupid. I win.

  • @BelieversinThings And I repeat, I'm more into clasical liberalism, you mouth breather. Classical liberalism is the philosophy committed to the ideal of limited government, rule of law, due process, and liberty of individuals including freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and free markets

  • @TheThordir And I'll repeat, you can't be socially liberal and have limited government, liberty of individuals, and free markets. The philosophy you support is what the creator of this video is trying to mock. Americans who consider themselves conservative follow what Europeans consider classic liberalism because the European system is much older and free markets are the new idea. The US was started with a free market so the new thing is collectivism, they want to conserve free markets.

  • @BelieversinThings

Are you stupid, or are you a troll. Let me spell it out for you, becuase clearly you are dense. Fiscally conservatives believe in limited government spending. To be socially liberal means that gays can marry, that you are pro-choice, and that government has no right to impose morality or social issues on you. Tell me again, how are these two things incompatible under clasical liberalism?

  • @TheThordir You didn't look up social liberalism, did you? Classical liberalism is modern conservatism. I see you're becoming unravelled. You're starting to call me names. It's alright, I'm used to it. More used to it than rational arguments based on evidence when it comes to liberals. I actually agree with you, the actions of the republicans when it comes to the millitary is not conservative at all,

  • @BelieversinThings

And how is being socially conservative any better when it comes to the liberty of the individuals? Why, there are some conservatives in America who think that I should be in prison for not having the same opinion as them when it comes to sex.

  • @TheThordir Just like you said before, there are some dickholes on both sides. I don't believe in lifestyle laws everybody should be able to do whatever they want so long as they don't infringe on anyone else's rights, but I think the issues of gay marriage, abortion, or saying the word god in the constitution are juvenile compaired to the seriousness of the damage to everyone, including gays and women, that liberal keynsianism is doing.

  • @BelieversinThings

Thank you. Finally. Some common ground. This is the problem with individual beliefs concerning politics. People define themselves politically the same way they do religiously... They were raised to believe they fit that particular mold but when pressed on individual issues eventually admit to a unique set of beliefs that defy definition.

  • @TheThordir Yeah, I think our misunderstanding is in our definition of liberal. I'm referring to type of person in this video. A young naive Keynsian American liberal. I don't think you're one of them. You should watch some American liberals talk about economics, then you'll understand my point of view a little better.

  • @BelieversinThings

I personally see the entire exercise of trying to put everyone into a neat and labeled box as a futile one at best. A society benefits from a diversity of views. The true damage that has been done to our your country has been solely in the name of "towing the party line". Not everything is black or white, especially when it comes to politics.

  • @TheThordir hitler was able to win cause germany was a multi party system. nevertheless today our biggest problem is overspending. obamas got to go. anyone runnin as repub would be better. obama spent 6 trillion. I think it is treason, his intentional inflation of the dollar... attempting to make the people will for a new currency upon the complete devaluation of our money...like weimar republic. perhaps the amero is what they desire? none of this was an accident its all calculated.

  • @mropinionful

Some of his policies were because repubs demanded them, so they could blame him. This is what happens when you hold the party as sacred. You are willing to ruin the country, just so that you can take power at the next election.

  • @TheThordir at the beginning of obamas presidency the dems controlled everything and they couldnt pass a budget...thats just the blame game. obama is an incompetent as he did nothing at the beginning that he promised... health care thats it. an its about to be ruled unconstitutional...

  • @BelieversinThings

Being socially liberal does not mean that that one agres with socialism. See President Bill Clinton for an explaination. He was a social liberal and fiscally conservative. Republicans are under the misconception that being socially liberal means having government give-aways for everything.

  • @TheThordir I was going by the definitions I found online, not Bill Clinton's interpretation.

  • @BelieversinThings

American conservatives must be insane. I can't really see how pissing trillions of dollars away on military spending is any more fiscally sound than social programs. On this issue, liberals are more "conservative". An actual fiscal conservative would strive to reduce the extent and cost of government to its minimum functions, and not allow for expansive, expensive government in favored contexts, such as military, religious affairs, and dictating morality.

  • @TheThordir

Pretty much any sane person would strive to keep the role of government limited to the minimum required to keep society functioning smoothly and people able to pursue happiness and so on. Which is why these are such useless definitions for anything.

A conservative will tend to think that there are fewer necessary minimum functions than a liberal. A reasonable fiscal conservative doesn't think that we should reduce the scope of the safety net because "fuck poor people".

  • @TheThordir It's not a matter of "fuck poor people". Conditions not only don't improve after government programs are implemented, but they get much worse. If you want to help the poor leave them alone. A higher percentage of people moved out of poverty with a better education and chance of competing than before all the government "safety nets" were employed to help them. That's the thing liberals just don't get. The programs don't work whether you think it's the governments responsibility ornot

  • @BelieversinThings

I already know that. Were you even paying attention to what I wrote? Or do you love arguing with a straw-man?

  • @TheThordir

    (p2)

He thinks we should decrease the scope of the social safety net because keeping it excessively (in his opinion) large distorts the market, disincents healthy behavior, and redirects dollars in a way that hurts more than it helps. And really, your average liberal feels the same way - he just disagrees about what counts as "excessively large".

  • @TheThordir It's not a matter of size. It doesn't help at all. The bigger it is, the worse it is. The smaller it is, the less damage it does. The bottom line is though, that they do more harm than good.Liberals think it's a matter of how much, libertarians and conservatives know that they should be taken care of 100% by the privaste sector.

  • @BelieversinThings

100% sounds so religious. How much do you believe in in za gawd of the invizible free hand of the market? 100%. Even when corporate corruption tramples on our freedoms.

i think being fiscally conservative and socially liberal means different things for different people.

  • @TheThordir I don't believe in any free market god. I believe the productive results of freer markets, and the destructive results of government programs that I can see throughout history. A corporation cannot trample freedoms without the support of the government. Nobody can force you to buy their products unless the government mandates that you haver to buy it. Your definition of socially liberal isn't the accepted definition, you might as well say you believe a giraffe is a horse.

  • @BelieversinThings

Not accepted in the US. Read the fucking difference between classical liberalism and modern, faux liberalism, and stop with the silly arugments.

    theologyweb . com / campus / showthread.php?142581-Classical-liberalism-vs-Modern-liberalism

  • @BelieversinThings

Fiscally conservative for me mostly means: cutting military spending, cutting subsidies for certain industries (farming), cutting some forms of foreign aid. Socially liberal, for me, mostly means: supporting civil rights (gay marriage, military, etc.), supporting privacy rights (abortion), keeping religion out of government and standard education. I don't see how any of these conflict with each other.

  • @BelieversinThings

What you don't get is that I do not identify with the Republican or Democrat definitions of fiscally conservative / socially liberal. I use the original definitions, closer in some sense to "conservation" and "liberation". The government should "conserve" money and "liberate" culture. That's how i see it atleast.

  • @TheThordir

Now, of course, there are dickhole conservatives who do think the poor all deserve to be poor because bootstraps olol. There are dickhole liberals, too, who have their own retarded opinions. That's beside the point.

  • @BelieversinThings

You do realzie that there is a difference between my liberalism and the modern type of US liberalsim you are talking about. Why can't someone be in favor of personal freedoms but not high taxes.

  • @BelieversinThings

Social conservatism is completely incompatible with the typical conservative tenets of small government, the free market, and individual liberty. A typical conservative usually sound like this: "I want smaller government. . . except when it comes to reproductive rights. Then I want a great big government right up in her business!!" Why do the individual freedoms they claim to value above all and the inalienable right to the pursuit of happiness only apply to people like them?

  • @TheThordir I'm pro choice, but I understand the argument that life begins at conceptuion and that person has rights as well. I don't think it's stupid. What conservatives don't get is that the child has no right to force the mother to provide for it involuntarily. Liberals are too dumb to argue that point , and try to say that life begins at some point during the pregnancy. They don't want to be allowed to have abortions and stop others, so the last part of your argument doesn't make sense.

  • @BelieversinThings

Oh, let's not forget the fact that libertarians are also hypocrites. Two cases in which private actors act freely. An employer signs an exclusive contract with a uniform company. An employee at the restaurant, if they need a new uniform, must buy it from that uniform company. The state doesn’t coerce anyone. (p 1)

  • @TheThordir The employee can always quit or pay for it himself from somewhere else. All parties in your bad example volunteered to be in that position. They weren't forced to enter into their contracts. Try not paying your taxes, or a traffic ticket, and see if the state doesn't coerce you to pay them.

  • @BelieversinThings

(p 2) Now lets imagine another: the same restaurant faces pressure from their employees, who are mad about low pay and unsafe conditions. After a while the restaurant decides that it is in their financial interest to sign a labor agreement with the employees, who have constituted themselves as a union. Two cases in which private actors act freely.

  • @TheThordir Private actions are private actions and as long as no one is being forced libertarians have no problem with it. There's no hypocracy.

  • @BelieversinThings

Meanwhile, somewhere in reality, State legislatures around the country are debating whether to make it illegal for one private entity to freely sign a type of contract with another private entity. I speak, of course, about Right to Work laws, which make it illegal for one private actor (unions) to sign particular types of contracts with another willing private actor (companies). What an outrageous infringement of individual liberty! (sarcasm)

  • @TheThordir The unions already have government protections that other private entities don't have. Since congress will never repeal those acts, conservatives give the people and companies back some of the leverage they lost to the davis bacon act and similar legislation. Businesses prefer right to work states, and the people who work in those state make more money when adjusted to the cost of living. Libertarians would rather not have had any laws in the first place.

  • @BelieversinThings

That piece of information I didn't have.

  • @BelieversinThings

I just want to say that I don’t give a shit what Libertarians claim to believe. When they consistently vote for the party that favors government control of private lives and military adventurism abroad, and that depends on the support of Christian-dominationists, it’s pretty obvious that they’re lying about every single one of their principles except for lowering taxes. How fiscally-conservative of them.

  • @BelieversinThings

(p 3) The state doesn’t coerce anyone. Yet libertarians are ok with one, and not with the other. Of course the fundamental difference is that in the second case, working class people are benefiting, while in the first case, businesses are benefitting.

  • @BelieversinThings

I love it I love it when the conservatives and libertarians run to the nanny state, when defenders of the constitution want to legislate religious views, when free marketeers want the army to help keep the oil flowing.

  • @BelieversinThings

Bill Clinton was fiscally conservative. Bush was fiscally liberal. Bill Clinton was socially liberal. Bush was socially conservative. The spending of your Government deficit has increased at a record pace under every Republican administration since Reagan. This is NOT a conservative fiscal policy. At least Clinton (and the Republican Congress) balanced the federal budget.

  • @BelieversinThings

One cannot shake a tree without dozens of stupid and insane conservatives falling from it (i.e., Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity, Coulter, Tea Party members).

Anyone who denies science (i.e., climatology and evolutionary biology), believes that Reagan was a good president, follows the teachings Ayn Rand, is a "conservative" Christian, or subscribes to the vacuous ideology of the Chicago economic "theory" would be a fine choice for a stupid Republican.

  • your 18 and a liberal? :) share your political wisdom.

  • @MrAtomicBalls Of course he's an eighteen year old, if he was older he'd be a conservative or libertarian. Liberalism is kindergarten politics.
