@chilledkirby - - an "ultra" is typically considered any distance farther than a traditional marathon (26.2 miles). The usual distances, in ascending order, are typically: 50km, 50mi, 100km, 100mi. However, there are many races with distances in between and even beyond (e.g. Badwater 135).
