@theTeabag do they need to be? pedigree cats have all kinds of genetic problems. Mixes are much more healthy, besides does being a mix make them less of a cat?

@leopardontheprowl there's nothing wrong with moggies as long as you adopt them. NEVER BUY a cat if you have doubts regarding the pedigree. This is very important because there are tonnes of dishonest "breeders" who don't bother about any standards. It's not uncommon that the kitten dies shortly after coming home because they didn't care about vaccinations. Stay away from "half-pedigree" offers.
