@Kevster21 It was shot over the course of a whole concert, the music was added in post and I just cut the different shots to it. Though almost always they were playing different songs to what was being played underneath in the edit.
@oliverwolfson With the Nikon setting exposure is a real pain, no manual control. I usually pointed the lens at different parts of the floor and used the AE lock, then aimed at the person and judged if I needed it higher or lower and repeated. I do think the Nikons grain looks a LOT better than the 7D but then again its manual and a lot easier to set
what did you use for audio? I just got a D300s to go with my D700. I am excited to play with the video. I currently am a professional photographer, but know NOTHING about video.
As I said, my first shoot, didnt have time to mess with white balance etc. I was going to fix it with Magic Bullet but felt the raw image was a better example for people to see
This looks great.. So many different sources of light..what do you set the WB too lol.. I can see much less noise than I would on my HD sony video cam so go figure...I guess the sensor size.. Im getting a D300s to go with my trusty D200. Pitty they didnt go Full HD like the 5D did. Still the low noise and being able to use my Nikon glass makes it worth while for me..
how did u get the music to sync, whilst taking different views? or did u add the audio on top of it all?

How did you set up the exposure? These shots look great and almost grain free.
