This may be something specefic only to me, but in my last 2 years at school I was kind of an arse. I had five teachers for three subjects and 3/5 were women. Maybe it was just bcoz I didn't like the subjects but in my psych and soc classes (female teachers) I would question virtually everything the teachers said, but in my history class (2 men) I was way more likely to get on with work and while I did still like to discuss things, it was more: is this true? than: You're wrong.

I would be alarmed too if this were a true cultural trend. However, from my experience in the US, these things only happen in very rare instances, and few people will buy into claims that vilify male children. They who buy into the claim may be a vocal minority, but they are still just a very small minority. But again, "feminization" is the wrong word, because it just throws the vilification back toward the females, which isn't a solution at all.

I persoanlly believe this kind of mentality is damaging to children who are victims of abuse and when they see all the horrible stories on the news and there heads become messed up by psychiatry. I think its sad how chidren who become victims of abuse get no sympathy from anybody and the system just uses them to make money for there own purphouses like social workers to keep them in ther cushy jobs. Maybe if there was more care in the world it wouldn't be such an ugly place.

@1982FMJ Thank you, I'm one of those children (along with being bullied) and I've struggled and fought tooth and nail into the top school in Illinois. I feel like I'm finally letting up and recovering from my depression, but there's still some ways to go. I'll be going to college next year to study Creative Writing an Business, so hopefully being away from home will finally end this nightmare. Your comment brings relief and comfort and i greatly appreciate it. Father left when i was 12 or so.

A good topic for the American audience is the gender normalization of the PSAT (used to select National Merit Scholarships) and the SAT. Much of the information is found in wikipedia, but if you note how the Verbal sections are counted (doubled) and math is reduced in complexity.

I have not meet one boy at my age who went through school who did not find his school boring, useless, simply didn't do the work or was angry half the time. I heard it reffered to as "Prison" desires to arson and kill teachers...Special school...yep, Special school and grown up-teenagers from mainstream. I would actually be glad to see mixed schools but with single-sex classes for all subjects. This is best because it keeps school options open whilst ensuring that boys get the correct sort of tuition.

The really important angle on this is for the teachers. If they teach the same subject to a class of girls and a class of boys and the girls do great but the boys don't, the real problem in education becomes crystal clear and misandrists have no place to hide.

@manwomanmyth personally I think mixed schools are better as I think males and females should learn to interact with each other, the main thing to do is to make sure any sexist people in the school systems are thrown out. They are the ones that are causing this horrendous injustice. People in the schooling system who are fair are all good in my book

I also must admit that I have had some female teachers who were great and some male teachers who were bad and the only misandric comment I have heard in school came from a male teacher. So be careful, men teachers can be pandering to feminism as well.

I am appalled. This is what black boys have been going through for decades. They are placed in "alternative schools, given labels of being A.D.D. and others." Black boys in America disengage from school at an alarming rate. But most educators say that they just can't learn like other kids. Now... white boys are being attacked too. This is so sad.
