this song is one of his top ten songs he ever wrote, vote my comment if you agree!!!For me is a living legend and i am so happy know he is still active!!!
My first album was a Beatles compilation on Casablanca Records that had this song on it. I was 8 in 1978 & had a crush on a girl named Michelle. I didn't know French, so I always heard something like,..."Sunday monkey (something, something...)"
I don't know if i'm right but I think the guitarist of Sir Paul play on a Boucher guitar...the best guitars in the world...And the are made in Quebec...not far of my home just 5 minutes..:)...sorry for my english
Paul McCartney sings "Eleanor Rigby" with his band on the stage of the Olympia in Paris on the 22/10/07. Singing "Michelle" in front of a french audience is something worth seeing !
When I was young and working in a record and component stereo store selling lots of Beatles records Our president, JFK, only for awhile... I loved this song by the Beatles, with Paul soloing. My wife and I had our first child, a girl whom we named Deanna Michele inspired by this song. It is beautiful as ever especially sung in this French venue, and our girl is now grown with her own family, and still beautiful, and my Belle. a dad of the 60's.
The Beatles last palyed here in January 1964 before their historic U.S visit....conquered France, Sweeden, Scotland and the U.S. was booked forwardly setting a world record of 73 million viewers Sunday Feb 9 1964: BEATLES #1
I named my baby after this song!!!
