  • I arranged this for a string quartet. Man, it took a long time. It's nice to hear it on a clavier, though. Thanks a lot!

  • I'm learning to play this right now. you play it so beautifully! thank you for the inspiration!

  • I dont like this song much. its kind of blah. what grade is this?

  • It's not a song. It's a waltz.

  • I played this song when I was your age! I wish that piano sounded better on recordings..

anyways, you seems to have played so many pieces from the RCM Grade 6-7 syllabus! What made you prepare so many of them?

  • It's not a song. It's a waltz.

  • Are you saying Waltz are not music, thus not making it a song, or a piece of music in any such way, shape, or form?

  • No...a song is typically a piece composed for voice and accompaniment. A song has text and the form can vary. A waltz is a piece that has no vocal. It is not composed for voice. It therefor does not fall into the category of a song. Originally a waltz was composed to be a dance (in 3/4).Composers wrote waltzes (however) as a piece unto itself without it being necessary to function as a dance piece. There can be an instrumental version of a song.Being up on music history can help to clarify.
