Considering that it's a small bonus, I suppose that it's meh. The only way to get rid of bots is to make it unprofitable, and most ways of doing that hurt normal players too. You have to either perfectly track normal people buying gold and ban them, so that no one will buy gold, or be so good at tracking down the people who run the companies and sueing them that they lose money by attempting to run bots. Of the two, the first is more possible.

I think they should take away free trade, ban claws, korasi, and tabs from the wilderness, add a few more characters to the names because almost all of the original ones have been taken by banned and unused accounts. There should be more fucking bot busts like the ones that Rogiee have uploaded. And Andrew Gower should be re-elected (or whatever they do in Wales) as CEO of Jagex and fix their fucking game. I'm sure a player could do a better job at running Jagex then the idiot Mark Faghard.

This is a fine thing for them to do. Nearly every mmorpg out there has a similar refer-a-friend type deal. Rewards are usually ingame items, but on a game like runescape the exp bonus reward is a much better choice.

when im on runescape now, i tend to stay in area's which are bot free. Clan wars and godwars. Recently i made a zerker account, Training it is not as good as it was back in the day when i trained my 138. Why give up on runescape? There are thousands, if not millions of dedicated, paying players around the world and jagex is going to just make a new MMO because they can't be bothered to fix runescspe's ongoing botting/rwt/scamming/hacking problems? My thoughts I posted in my newest vid. I bought myself 10%+ XP for my main with my new account I never plan to use. I earned 2m firemaking XP today. Also nearly earned 70-72 summoning in an hour and 77-79 range at a rate 1k+ per hour.
