Yeah this is definetly Marines (ANGLICO JTACs) same thing as a TACP. I was with 2d ANGLICO back in '02-'04 when they were resurected. I've been out for almost 6yrs now I'll more than likely be doing TACP next year. They've offered me a shot at getting my long tap (Special Forces). I spent the better part of my 4yrs in Force as an Comm guy trying to get into the 18E course before going over to ANGLICO. Hopefully these dudes ain't full of shit.
marines dont have tacp's embedded with them. marines have their own air support....from aviation marines and the navy. army has tacp's embedded because they dont have fighters, bombers, or any of those in the air force arsenal
@trimmc711 o air liaison officers get tol ead there tacp on the frontlines i heard some stories that they do and have but at the same time people argue that they dont?
@DyePaintballer2k11 I looked into that, and I think the Marines only have officer JTACs while the air force will let enlisted men do it. That is why I want to be the Air Force one.

JTACs are enlisted in the Air Force... the officer counterpart of TACP/JTACs is ALO, or Air Liaison Officer

they arents TACP's there marines 1 you can tell by the cobra flying in the air and you can also tell by there uniforms
