HI, thanks for the upload. I was just wondering where I could get the actual Biggs test. I'm an INTJ according to 2 personality tests, but still I wanted to make sure that it is correct.
hi,yes its normal too get different results at first.we are getting used to the questioing & system.thankfully,i believe the mbti to take this into account, and after one has done the test several times under different states of mind and times of life one will then recognise ones type.i was billed as a different type many times till i realised wot type i was.hope that makes sense.the other thing to take into account is we as humans are constantly changing, and the fact that our character is many.
I was looking into socionics a bit because it was different, and I was bored, and socionics deals with interactions, so it's going to be very external activities based
so it's not relatable to the MBTI, it's certainly useful as it goes to explain that while I typically test as an INTP I can act like an ENTJ/ENTP based on the description, I DID take the official MBTI, and it made enough sense, however I recall *heavy* INTJ qualities as a child
Can you explain the percentages on the MB's again? I'm a little confused, I guess I should go read...=)
So for example I got ISTP and it said 90% Perceiving and something like 25% Sensing...So this is just measuring my awareness of those qualities in me? Or is it saying that I am 90% Perceiving...? And is there that line where someone can be 50/50 say for example in S and N.?
obviously, iNtuitives are not totaly blind to the Sensitive side, and inTellectuals are not incapable of Feeling, and yes, the tertiary function and the inferior function can be developed, the way they do it, the time of their life, and the frecuency its found in groups varies from place to place and from person to person...now this is why they are called PERSONALITY TYPES....not PERSONALITIES....
Its normal that you feel you have a bit from one, and a bit from the other.
The IQ can help you to transcend brain type. Though nature and nurture are the most common arguments for personality, I believe we are forgetting something very important: evolution. More active neurotransmitters being used with a higher rate of efficient functioning within the mainframe of the left-prefrontal cortex. Decision is the ultimate power.
You are an INTP/J who feels uncomfortable with his/her type :)
About what you said, forget about your scientific-weed, yes, people who HAVE read MBTI (and that obviously doesnt include you) know that EVERYBODY has ALL the 4 main functions, but the way they use them and the frequency depends on the TYPE, if you are alone...you will probably be able to somehow "change" into sensitive mode from intuitive, for this is your tertiary function and it works as Si, wich means introverted. continue->
i personelly feel, u should see a psyhic or medium and take the regression which is a type of meditation or hypnosis and find out what the hack u were last life, and give this science stuff a break for awhile
I took the full MBTI. The test took about three hours to fill out. I tested INTP.
I still have it. I have an ENTJ alternate persona to deal with the world.
Breaking out of the introverted mold is tough. I did it, but I am a devoted asectic as well. I follow a harsh regiment of physical and mental conditioning. I set trends that people can't or wont follow.
Awesome video! I am your same personality type. Theirs this awesome website called personalitycafe where you can meet fellow personalitytype. Just go on google and search for a site called personalitycafe
I think that the functions are listed in order from hardest to easiest to change. E vs I is basically set unless you go through a trauma such as abuse or fighting in a war. N vs S can change a little bit but it's REALLY hard because it occurs on a very unconscious level. T vs F can change if you become more detached and rational or romantic and subjective. P vs J is the easiest to change because the defining traits of each are a mindset rather than a subconscious function.
I'm not much into type-casting but I am an INFJ. I already knew half the stuff about myself and why I do them, but I guess its much clearer now. Before, I thought I was just a freak.
It's quite strange to see so much INFP on these comments because usualy studies on MBTI sites say that INFP are no more than 5% of the worldwide population. But I believe that maybe iNtuitive people are more likely to be captivate by psychological tests like this one...
Yes, on wikipedia it says about 1% of the population are INFPs. INFPs are probably the type that would me most interested in their personality type. An ESTJ would`t really be interested at all.
Hey barcode9588, just wanted to say thanks for your involvement and intriguing discussions so far on this subject. I hope you will stay the course for a long time and bring us more valuable insight because this is truly a wonderful topic to discuss. Thanks again, and by the way I am an INFP to the fullest.
You express much of what it's taken me years to determine. I particularly appreciate your careful avoidance/dispelling of illusions I'd come to think were ubiquitous, and the briefness/accuracy with which you describe ideas. Message boards led me to think NP types were too vague to communicate/understand very specific points without being bombarded with careful, elaborate questions that annoy them. But you seem nothing like that.
I test INFJ. Oh, and thank you for sharing these videos with us.
Hey, thanks for watching. I'm not sure if I get "a kick" out of creating these videos, but I sure do enjoy spreading my knowledge about the MBTI. It's great to see so many people enjoying them.
Make moarrrrrrrr!

Well I remember that I was different when I was little, and about 10 years ago I changed ...
I took the test twice and I got INFJ both times . (it was this year.)

Im slightly glad ive never taken the real Myer's Brigg's test, I would never have the concentration to answer honestly for that many questions.
I would just end up clicking them quickly to get the end.

Very good opinion, although not really direct to point an attribute common on us intp. I myself is in between the intp and intj personality.

I'm an ISTP male. Which 4 letter woman will get along with me? I read that I would get along with an ESTJ, or ENTJ woman. Is that correct?

As an introduction to MBTI, I read took the test in Life Types, which can be purchased used for cheap.
I think this is a great way to meet and communicate with people of similar taste, I'm seriously thinking my own video.
And try that 'personalitycafe'

Hello Barcode
I am an INFP
and is it not hilarious how this nature and nature debate still exists?
after all, it is clearly both
congenital inclinations + nurturing

Steven Pinker has a great book about this,
"The Blank Slate"...in which he clearly, and with humor, describes this process.

I clearly meant nature vs nurture
