It's really easy. I converted my .mp4s to 'avis and loaded one into windows movie maker. From there it's pretty straight forward, adding title, credits and even sounds. Drag and drop clip, select make title, then credits, you can drag either about, back to front etc. Drag a sound clip in, drop that down and set it to start where you want again by dragging and previewing.
