  • I like this band ... where i am from this music is still not known by many ... but this band rocks .... supernice ...

  • such a shame that this band has disappeared and this video has only 11000 views. i feel sick

  • This cool beyond description. I just downloaded the the album from itunes. Yeh I paid for it. It's the honest thing to do guys. Still I'm with AveryHayes. I want the bonus stuff to.

  • I bought the album on iTunes... Man, fuck digital music, I want THESE kind of bonuses with my music.

  • The entire album is EPIC. A truly brilliant masterpiece, and the best album I have ever heard.

  • I hate the text... but... god, this music is a true masterpiece!

  • and now you sound like a fakking tard, which dont know a shit about music!

  • This album is most definitely worth getting.

  • n1ce

  • That intro riff is too similar to the one in "Stricken" by Disturbed, which is a bad thing. And they also sound too similar to Pain Of Salvation, which is a bad thing, too. But they aren't bad at all.

  • are you saying pain of salvation sucks

  • No, they don't suck. Apart from the fact that I don't like Pain Of Salvation that much (basically, I like their first two albums and Remedy Lane), I don't approve when a band tries to sound too hard like another one. And , I'm sorry to say that, it's exactly what this guiys are doing. At least to my ears, probably I'm wrong, but that's my opinion.

  • I REALLY doubt they're trying to sound like either of those bands. It's a pretty simple chord progression; there is such thing as coincidence.

  • Well, it's actually IMPOSSIBLE that they're trying to sound like Disturbed! It's simply out of this world, and in fact it's not what I was saying. But the fact that when I hear that chord progression Disturbed's "Stricken" comes to mind is a bit irritating.

Instead, I can definitely hear Pain Of Salvation here. Let's just say that they take a significant amount of influence from Pain Of Salvation and let's end this, ok?

P.S.: if you say that this album is worth getting, I will try it out.

  • Sorry, but I guess you're listening to something else... Pain of Salvation is a progressive band with alternative sound, like Tool or The Mars Volta. Mind's Eye sounds more like Queensryche, and the sound is definately metal, I don't hear any resemblence to PoS.

  • It's all a matter of point of views, so it's useless to argue about this. For exemple, take Dead Soul Tribe: everyone say that they sound a lot like Tool, but apart from a couple of songs, I don't think they sound THAT much like Tool.

Maybe you don't hear any resemblance because Mind's Eye's music overall sounds like traditional prog metal (for exemple Queensryche, as you rightly said), but, trust me, there are alternative elements in here.

Well, it doesn't matter. Just enjoy the music.

  • Right, that's the beauty of the prog, you cannot define it... it's SOMETHING ELSE.

  • NOW I definitely agree with you! Prog is something else...Well, not always, though. But, yeah, most of the times is something different.

  • sounds good to me!

  • Has anyone ever seen these guys in concert? If so, I was wondering if they wear something better than what they're wearing in this video. What they're wearing here isn't too rock and roll, at least to me....

  • Ok...where in the heck have I been? I just came across this, and I cannot stop listening to it. Rock on!

  • great band and their album are genial

  • Where can i download this video with stereo sound.

    It's so cool!

the album is also great. You guys need to hear it!

  • You can get this video with stereo sound by buying the album which comes with a DVD with the making of the album and video.

  • These guys are great. I couldn't believe they were only 3 guys doing the album.

    - Andreas Novak / vocals

    - Johan Niemann / guitars, bass

    - Daniel Flores / drums, keyboards, vocals

    Very talented indeed.

  • Amazing album. I can't say enough good things about it.

  • Beautiful sound - very complex progmetal - thx for introducing me 2 them

  • fuckin' amazing, I love these guys, I discovered them a month ago and I haven't stopped listening to them ever since. Well, the Swedes have always known their shit, they can fuckin'play..

  • Just brilliant!

  • T E M A Z O ! ! ! !

    sigan asi Mind's Eye ^_^

  • This has to be THE best effort to come out from Sweden this year.Hell , this band easily gets in my top 5 bands from Sweden , among some well known ones.

  • almost everything from sweden kicks ass, just as this song

  • I think it's funny when you see the band they doubled Johan because he does the guitars and bass.

  • Yeah, that was cool. IMO they should have also doubled Daniel for his drums and keyboard playing; and maybe add a choir of clones to represent his backing vocals.

  • Gotta say, their last album "Walking on H2O" was fantastic, and this one looks like it's gonna follow suit and be just as brilliant - am looking forward to this one !!!

  • Incredible, MINDS EYE rock... I can´t wait for their new Album. ;)
