@youdragon See i think it would work, but the antenna adapter has a male L on the one end, because when you push the deck back in, the stock one wouldnt have enough of a curve on it.
Does the stock anti theft matter on a new cd palyer? mine is not hooked up, & i am having issues with it. Just wondering if that is something you have encountered.
@Thefarmshow like when you go to walmart or a store and get a aftermarket stereo would the all fit your truck or do you have to like measure them and make sure they would fit
@jackhillbilly Well usually they are all a standard size, or I never really though about them not fitting right, the only ones you have to worry about not fitting with a standard deck plate, are the touch screen ones, or dvd player ones. The dvd player ones where the screen pops out and folds up or down you have to watch too. The part that i took out in this video, is the deck plate, I installed my stereo into that plastic plate so it took up all the space that the stock one did before.

you could have just bought a small l shaped antenna adapter thats what i did in my 95 but it may vary depending on your radio
