When I lived in Kodiak, you could drive that trail. I used to go up to the top on my lunch breaks often. I have a fantastic picture of my Jeep at the top with an American flag a couple of days after 9/11.
I remember when i was really li ttle i had my mom carry me half way up the mountain and then i was scared to swim in the lake because it reminded me of a shark

Old Womans is easy and fun, but Barometer has got a spectacular view, but it's extremely steep!

Man... I miss that place. Used to hike up there every weekend and sometimes take school field trips up that and barometer mt.

i hiked this one time...me and my friends swam in that lake...it was warm...man..memories!
