What the hell? After taking what seems to be the second biggest moonsault ever,(second to Teddy Hart's world record moonsault) the guy kicked out at a 1. Not great ring psychology with that one at all. Before and after that, the match was great.
Even still, that wasn't very smart. After a hit like that, it would be out. Or at least a 2.99 count.
I'm not trying to degrade Sasaki's abilities or anything, I'm just saying that it would have been smarter to do that. Since it took the 10 seconds to get there. If he had immediately covered him, that should have been the match.
HELLO!?! It's a death match! There is no psychology. It's "hit each other with light bulbs, bleed, and nearly kill yourself", NOT psychology. Whereas I enjoy the occasional "blood & guts" type crap, this isn't even wrestling. These guys do this, because they're too lazy to learn how to actually WORK.

1st off, it's Cornette, not Corette. The letter N is in there, sunshine. Secondly, I hope you didn't mean that as an insult. Cornette is one of the greatest wrestling minds of all time. If you're entertained by this crap, then God bless ya. But please, don't inslut the sport of wrestling by speaking of matches like this with the kind of reverance reserved for true classics such as Flair-Steamboat, Steamboat-Savage, Michaels-Hart, etc... Truely great wrestling matches.
You are new to japanese wrestling aren't ya? Look, the kickout at 1 is a very common thing in Puro-bigmatches and an important part of their psychology. See, it's a psychological trick: after taking a move like that, he's obviously extremely exhausted, and not going to end the match just with his bare physical strength. So he kicks out at one to get the crowd behind him and to freak his opponent out in a "SEE THAT YOU AIN'T GOT NO SHIT ON ME WITH YA SHITTY MOVES"-way. Part of the king's road.
I'm not new to Puro at all. I just didn't understand. It just doesn't make sense that a guy would take a bigass moonsault like that and kick out, and then lose on a much simpler, much less effective move.
i fucking love japanese deathmatches cause u can always tell what they are saying after they pull off an insane move, "WTF WHY WONT THIS BITCH DIEEE!!!"

@craigc1100 It's professional wrestling. None of it is realistic. That's not the reason I watch it.

@Jamesadeth Pro wrestling is not 'rasslin. If you don't like it, I suggest watching a Chris "The Bowflex Killer" Benoit match and jerking off.

1. It took Miyamoto about 10 seconds to get to Sasaki to cover him
2. Miyamoto just laid down on Sasaki (not a good pin)
3. Sasaki is the death match champion, he can take a lot of punishment
