Barbara Bain to me will always be Doctor Helena Russell. Dr. Russell was a Great Character that was under utilised. Helena Russel was like a Rock and was as scared as hell at all time every time Moonbase Alpha was in Danger.

She was the only one on the base that showed her personality. She let her hair down a few times in the First and Best Season. She cooled out in the Second Season.Too bad there wasn't a Third Season. She was one of my First Crushes when I didn't even know what that Meant.

I was just watching Space:1999 tonight. I liked when Koenig says to her "I never knew you cared." Yes, she was a very pretty lady and she and Landau made a compelling pair on TV. They have no competition among modern day TV actors, that's for sure!

It's a song by Charles Aznavour, who also composed it. It was a great success in Europe in 1974. In French it is called "Tous Les Visages de L'Amourd" but he as well sung it in Italian, Spanish and German. It has been covered by many artists (f.e. Elvis Castello). But I like the original and it is perfect for the Lady, isn't it?
