  • i'm sure the fcc was able to gather enough intel to know that the m4's may have been a tad much. especially considering that they were raiding a closet, with a hippie or two in it.

  • As an avid longtime SWL, I hear pirate radio stations all the time on 6.925 MHz (USB mode). All you need is a decent shortwave radio receiver with a halfway decent antenna (you can clip a long piece of wire to the whip antenna and position it outside or around a window or wooden door). Best time to listen is after sundown and for a few hours thereafter, especially on holidays and weekends. Happy listening!

  • american pirate radio is very shit and gay

  • @djparnate your piss poor grasp on the english language is "very shit and gay".

  • super

  • fuck the fcc !!!!!

  • Get a licence and you wont get closed bloody down. End of story.

  • Why does the FCC need to have guns drawn, dont they have anything better to do

  • fcc are lie ofcom

  • I'm glad the FCC shut them down!

Breaking News: The Pity Train has derailed at the intersection of Suck It Up and Move On, and crashed into We All Have Problems, before coming to a complete stop at Get The Hell Over It. Any complaints about how we operate can be forwarded to 1 (800) waa-waaa. This is Dr. sniffles reporting LIVE from quitchur bitchin'. If you like this re-post, if you don't suck it up cupcake, life doesn't revolve around YOU!

  • The airways have limited space, image every tom, dick and harry wanting his own broadcast station the bands would be UN-useable, un-coordinated and content would appear as something from CB Hell... The FCC is not trying to limit your made up freedoms but making a public airway useable and have USEABLE content. Seems they get an A+ so far... sorry ..but been in radio all my life and if you truly want to broadcast there are procedures not blockades...

  • So, someone from the pirate radio station please answer me this. The FCC regulates the licensing of radio stations, not the city council of Santa Cruz. Where did you get the idea that you can avoid getting a license from the FCC, and why do you think the city council has any kind of authority in this matter ? Your argument seems more like a pity party than a real reason to have your little station. Get real, get a license.

  • Congratulations FCC. Fine job !!!

  • @Vallhalla688 fcc nazis lol

  • The problem with radio waves is that they travel beyond Santa Cruz. The FCC is one of the few federal agencies I view as legitimate. You just figure you can set up a transmitter with no regard for who else is using the air, and go for it?

  • great song.. anyone know of Geddy is using the fender or the rick for this?

  • So, when did the City Council of Santa Cruz have the authority to license broadcast stations ? All you have to do is get a license, it's not that hard, what's wrong with obeying the law ?

  • @Postie218 California and rights just don't seem to come in the same sentence very often. Aren't they the same state that prohibits guns based upon their color?

  • @USCOMBATDIVER What do gun colors in California have to do with getting a radio license from the FCC (FEDERAL GOVERNMENT) to run a radio station ?

  • @Postie218 The Supreme court has ruled that the second amendment applies to regular citizens and therefore arms are considered a right of all people and yet in California while marijuana is legal (which it isn't on the Federal level) guns of certain colors are deemed illegal. California is also where this radio group is out of and obviously thinking that once again Federal laws don't apply to them. For a better explanation you will have to research it yourself.

  • @USCOMBATDIVER "California is also where this radio group is out of and obviously thinking that once again Federal laws don't apply to them" Ah, ok, I see where your coming from now. Never heard of the colored gun thing though.

  • I can't find in the constitution where we have a right to broadcast unregulated. Exactly where is that? Oh, the MAYOR issued a "resolution". I can't believe the FCC didn't pee their pants! LOL A resolution and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee.

Look Hanoi Jane, it's not the content of your pretend radio station it's the fact that you're BREAKING THE LAW. Tell your ignorant mayor to support your operation with the cash you need to go on the air legit. His moral support is worthless.

  • Pirate Radio has problems. most of which revolve around licensing fees with record companies and their refusal to get a proper license which forces them to adhere to set of decency rules about open broadcast over radio. If the pirates where really smart they would just find a mostly Quiet 11 meter channel and use a tall tower and an extremely high-gain antenna and broadcast in fm there. there it would be legal until they started broadcasting licensed materials without consent.

  • yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

  • That sucks, but anybody that wants ANY type or freedom has no business living in Commiefornia!

  • get a radio licence people and sign a angreement with equivalent of australias apra in the usa which takes music royaties and pays them to artists do this and the fcc won't shut you down.

  • With no order you have chaos, Do like other people and obey laws, most laws are created because of stupid things people do. If a person wanted to effect MILLIONS of people the internet is the way to go, WOw even with video! Just think what powerful statement you could do there. Why create chaos when it is not needed. What would be the cost of internet station hmmm, much lower than a low power station. Do you want effect mass of people or to just cause trouble?

  • @leemer12 Hey 12 year old, the internet may have been here your whole life but it wasn't some time ago. So please go under your stone again and ignore EVERYTHING just to keep your image of a perfect world up.

  • @alemaaltevinden Dude I am a licensed operator for over 15 years

  • @leemer12 Btw you are a fu - this comment was deleted by the fcc -.

  • FCC wants pirates down, becuse spreading word, will get people to lisent to ya. just like Hitler with speach, FCC dont want you to know the turth (Thankfully i am in Europe, so no FCC can attack me :D)

  • Get a license. That simple.

  • @radioditch That's a fine and dandy idea except the FCC isn't issuing new licenses, they haven't been for years, and there is no indication that they will start any time soon. Basically the only way to get a license now is to buy an existing station that is already licensed, which can be very costly.

  • @radioditch no the fuck its not

  • dum head. just get an internet show. wow

  • So by keeping your Door locked will that stop the FCC entering your radio room No they will just kick your door down useing SWAT

hear in the uk its called the police they would be called out to attend the rade life sucked down with the laws of out lands

  • FCC = Unconstitutional assholes with a god complex.....ha!

  • damn calis with no respect for laws. just a bunch of hippie atheistic potheads!

  • i urge the fcc to shut down unlicensed stations as they do tend to interfere with stations already licensed to be on air. like i said, i have been a licensed ham for nine plus years, and i know for a fact the fcc will not tolorate that kind of on air behavior, thank you very much, and seventy threes.

  • @HurricaneSondra Hear you 5/9. 88

  • fuck the city council, i am a licensed ham and have been for nine plus years, i know for a damn fact that the FCC governs ALL radio services that are not lready governed by some other agency such as the u.s. military, and the FCC HAS EVERY right to shut down a non licensed broadcast station that is operating over the ten watt limit for fm or over the five hundred miliwatt limit for AM. i do not support unlicensed operation of a broadcast station operating at the above violation limit

  • The FCC should be dissolved and the States should run regulation, that way the NAB don't have a one-stop lobbying shop

  • i think this sucks as long as you dont get any farhter then 5 or ten miles i dont see any harm they just need to lay off.

  • get a licence... then broadcast... that simple

  • If they had a repeater.............. so easy.

  • Why doesn't the FCC go after all the Spanish speaking stations with illegal power in the San Joaquin Valley? They are causing so much interference to the English speaking stations that you can't get a clear signal. Seems like they are selectively enforcing the law.

  • "OH NO! THEY'RE COMING TO GET MEEEEEE!"... bend over bitch!

  • @totalrandomcrap nice Comment there:

    Love it. :-)

  • So the FCC should play strictly by the rules but any hippy with a transmitter should blast signals as they wish? Maybe the FCC swat team are just bureaucratic pirates doing their thing. Don't oppress them and their hobby.

  • FCC = FOOLISH CUNTS CLUB!

  • FCC not only really deals with censorship but also requires license so that you don't get multiples stations piled on one frequency all within a area that their transmitters can reach...(ever try to use a CB while everybody on the channels "skipping" or using transceivers that have bad frequency generators and transmit over channels that they're not supposed to...)

  • I wonder how the Santa Cruz mayor & council would feel if one of their police, firefighters, or Joe Citizen was killed because the signal from an unregulated "pirate" station was knocking out their commo to shit. Bitch about censorship all you want, but as much as I dislike dealing with the FCC they DO serve a valid purpose. Without some regulation of who broadcasts at what freq. & power there would be dangerous utter chaos!

  • @JimHadar1 I have been doing micro broadcasting for some time now, people who used dirty transmitters can bleed onto polic frequencies and other wave lenghts, however most of these pirate radio stations are smart enough to use a low pass filter and a clean transmitter with good SWR and it usually stays on the FM dial. The FCC does have to be there to regulate, but they should make it very easy for willing folks to broadcast without spending much, however its them who control the media so..!!

  • Hi Free Radio, We are just finishing a documentary about the history of radio called RADIO WARS which will be out in September of 2011. We came across your video regarding censorship and believe your opinions have an important message. Would you give me a call at 213-446-6334. I would like to talk with you about getting permission to feature your story and video in the movie. Thank you! Sandra

  • I'll be happy to allow you to search, or answer any questions you have...

just as soon as you have provided me with proof of jurisdiction

'the commission of violence does not constitute such proof'

    peace,

    haans :)

  • wat da 4th rule say

  • This is some trivial tree hugging bullshit. I think the real interest here is NOT in radio but finding a reason to bitch about the government.

Get a license and get legit.

You don't like the laws here? Vote current leadership out or go set up your pirate station in Iran, Lybia, etc. Instead of peeling you like a potato for speaking your mind maybe they'll quickly stone you to death.

I'm not trying to be an a-hole. I'm saying this is how the rest of world is. Be glad you're in America

  • @Slugg0matic And behold one of the idiots who thinks America is more free than the rest of the world. XD

  • @gaaraman082 Move to Iran and let us know how it goes.

  • @Slugg0matic Dude your brain washed the airwaves are the PEOPLE'S not to be controlled by some government who WILL ALWAYS CONTROL IT. Why don't you study history, history always shows governments always go bad unless people take back their control and put governments in their place as our servant. A license is a permit for someone do something that is illegal when in actuality it is not. LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC and Down to the satanic NEW WORLD ORDER. RESTORE LIBERTY AND RESIST TYRANNY>

  • @JASONANDTRACI

Man that's weak.... I hear you on "down with the NWO and restore liberty" but some control is necessary. What if I want to set up a transmitter in your town that operates on the same freq as EMS, Fire, or Police? Is it okay for me to interrupt their communication so I can do my thing? By your comment above the airwaves are ours which means no one could stop me. I don't like control either but common sense should tell you that without rules you will have total chaos.

  • @Slugg0matic Dude how old are you? Every one knows laws are needed to control basic structures. But in regards to FM radio, the air waves I was speaking of, IS REGULATED and CONTROLLED by the CRONY CORPORATIONS that want to MOLD and CONTROL the people through their own approved content. It shouldn't cost thousand of dollars and FCC approval to get a station started, that the government DOES NOT OWN IT, WE ALL SHARE IT'S USE.

  • @JASONANDTRACI

Old enough. You wrote, "airwaves are the PEOPLE'S not to be controlled by some government." What you wrote in your follow up does not match your original reply. Now you're off on the control of content and fees, not the issue of being licensed, which is what my original bitch was about.

I'm up for boycotting big corporations and reining in big brother, but I really don't see it happening because they are dug in deep and have already conditioned too many followers.

  • @Slugg0matic My friend people are waking up to what Liberty is all about, give it time, in the mean time keep waking people up, tell them to turn off their mind control TVs, and most importantly find the real TRUTH in the KJV Bible, not in the Whore controlled churches, and follow Jesus Christ,

    Stay Safe.

  • @JASONANDTRACI

    You surprised me!

I hope it isn't too late to restore liberty and freedom. If it isn't then it's very close.

  • @Slugg0matic Thats called amateur radio, and i have tons of radios just in my house that can transmit on those frequency's, doesn't mean ill ever use them unless completely necessary (Preservation of life, which is lawful). I do belive that the FCC should have a say in what shouls and shouldnt be used and how. BUT it would take more than 500,000 USD to get a LOW power station up on an individual basis. Sorry i dont have that money just laying around... It cost $500 to get a low power pirate up.

  • @coreyhudson2 You are mistaken. I have an LP FM which serves my little community and I put it up using a consulting firm for a grand total of 2400.00 bucks.

I am not breaking any laws and I am not causing any interference to any of the other licensed FM stations in my area. The "I don't have the money so I'm gonna do it anyway excuse" doesn't cut it.

  • @dogtagsvette

Come on, if you weren't breaking any laws, how did you come to get raided? Of course you are breaking laws

  • @dogtagsvette I see your point, but how did you get the license, they are'nt opening those up till late summer. And they are on a first come first serve basis, i cant get one if the 15 other churches in my town want one and will pay. I also don't have an organization that will meet the requirements. I myself do not have a radio station to speak of but am trying to find the means of doing one, where it cause no harm or obstruction. Either way seems to do the same.

  • @dogtagsvette Also, " All LPFM stations are required to operate at least 36 hours per week" how will i be able to do that if i want to do a mom and pop radio station on Saturday's? If there was a station nearby that was accepting interns i would be all for! Alas there isnt one within 50 miles from my home :(

  • @Slugg0matic "I'm not trying to be an a-hole."

So now we know you were just born that way...

...wingnut. Go listen to your hero Rush Limbaugh and STFU.

  • great a lic,stop crying.

  • Oh btw FRSC was back on the air in less than 48hrs

  • Why didn't the Mayor deploy the Santa Cruz Police to arrest the Federal Agents for violating the laws of the city?

  • @bladedspokes

Because the Mayor is a puppet of Bush/Obama Administrations, and Bush/Obama are puppets of the people behind the move toward perpetual global warfare, that's why.

  • @bladedspokes You're stupid, you know that, right?

  • What is your goal? Is it to get your words across to a certain number of people or is it to break Federal regulations that manage a finite national commodity, the frequency spectrum? It seems to me that instead of spending money on lawyers, court costs, fines, and jail time, you could use your money to spread your word via the INTERNET. Everybody these days carries a mobile communications device with access to the INTERNET. Look how the INTERNET brought down the govt of Egypt and Tunisia.

  • @jagturan 1. you sound like a provocateur via irrelevancy. 2. EVERYBODY doesn't carry around the internut in their pocket. 3. Radio is concise as opposed to the glutted hodge podge of porn and comments such as yours. 4. Find a bridge. 5. jump

  • lol good

  • I think sec 301 has to be changed...part 15 needs to be looked at & changed as well...

  • since when does the FCC have the rght to storm property or dominate airwaves?

  • @killerNC17 Duh...since 1934, dimwit.

99% of the posters on this one are idiots.

  • I admire you guys; may you have a long life on the airwaves and may the feds sit on a long long antenna

  • All you so called anarchists need to grow up and get a life. You are the ones voting in these people who increase the size of the federal government that reduces our civil liberties. IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT!

  • It's against the law. Get over it. Stop trying to change the laws.

  • that's a good song by Rush....closer to the heart. Welcome to the United States of Police.

  • that's a good song by Rush....closer to the heart.

  • Have the Sheriff of the county arrest those theives/feds , he has sworn an oath of office and has the authority as the top lawman in the sovereign county of the sovereign state, see Yick Wo v. Hopkins US 118.356,370 make him do his job!!!

Research Sheriff Richard Mack, see how he handled the feds, handily I might add.

  • Obama’s “FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn Free Internet a Civil Right for Every Nappy-Headed Child” watch?v=JWETGCggzcE She also voted for Net Neutrality, which could ultimately censor the internet impeding our first amendment rights of Freedom of Speech. watch?v=lGplqSh8fYU

    .

Her dad is James Clyburn, former house majority WHIP. She’s probably aware our unfunded liabilities are $115 Trillion per debt clock. (Also Obama wants a “kill switch” for the entire internet!)

  • People should be able to transmit if and when they want .

the air belong to everyone on earth , not just the rich one .

  • It's all about money and corporate control, and money.

It's that simple. Freak Radio knows that too.

    More power to pirate radio.

To HELL with the commercial stations, Clear channel, and the FCC.

All they care about is the money!

  • What's wrong with broadcasting at 25 watts?!?! the FCC needs to get a life!

  • im sorry. i saw your lips moving but all i heard is radio chatter and music. could you talk louder please?

  • Like others have said. Get a license. It's not hard.

  • Get a license!

  • FCC=Fascist Communist Cunts

Everyone hates them they should just give up and get a real job and a life. its not like this station was interfering with anyone or spewing vulgar. they just want you to buy a license because without no one would ever want to fund they're sorry asses. pirate radio wil never be stopped

    KRNI Normandy Intl.

  • @GMSamuelRhine a fascist communist ss impossible dude. They are opposite ends of the spectrum.

You can have a fascist Conservative, or a communist liberal. But saying a fascist communist is like saying a liberal conservative. Its impossible.

That saying is as nonsensical as saying a Satanic Jesus or a Jewish Nazi

  • @3star2nr Your comments make absolutely no sense. Communists and fascists have more things in common than different. Both are very opressive systems of government. American conservatives have NOTHING in common with traditional fascism.

  • @DavidD98321 You are only saying that because yopu consider yourself a Conservative. But just look at the fiscal policies COnservatives are proposing and trying to enact, and look at the textbook definition of fascism and there is noway you can logically argue that the two arent one in the same.

All im asking you to do is research the facts, not go by what you think is right or may believe in.

  • pirates will never die!!!!! make as masy dipoles as you can !!!! bawlz out!!!

  • Radio is one of the easiest ways to communicate to a broad range of people, an easy way to spread IDEAS. IDEAS many people don't want to be public knowledge. Soundwaves can't be bought or sold. They will be produced long after the reign of the FCC.

  • Quit whining and get a frequency allocation and a license.

  • @largefrog19036 do you even begin to FUCKING UNDERSTAND HOW FUCKING HARD THAT IS!?!?!?! YOU NEED CORPORATE CASH TO EVEN TRY!!!!! Oh yah, and go fuck yourself

  • wow... I mean if I'm a cop and I get a call to shut down an illegal brodcasting station its my job to do it but a SWAT team just seems downright unesessary. Seriously that really stuck out, two guys would have been enough... maby four to move all the equipment (sorry just being practical). I'm with you guys on this and I hope your back up and running.

  • ... the Founding Fathers were concidered 'ranters' of their day too- by the Kings' governors, sheriffs & boot-licking torries.

Lookit ALL THAT ARMAMENT!! WTF do these guys need all that artillery 4? It's just a radio ststion. You idiot Americans have allowed your country 2 become 'Euro-socialist'; a near-Nazi form of government has grown from the US capitol. Some years back our 'leaders' in DeeCee seem 2 have absorbed a disease from the foul pogroms from Schoekelgrubers' socialist methodologies

  • For Great FM Transmitters & RF Amps, go to "wavemach.com" Canada. They ship anywhere & with great service, ask for Dave!

  • WATCH OUT! Now big brother has taken steps to start regulation of the internet.

  • What is the difference between an FCC license and pirate radio? I mean, what are you not allowed to do with an FCC license; what are the benefits of being pirate radio? I don't understand, could someone explain to me?

  • @robot851 I would think that anyone using the term "pirate", is participating in a criminal activity. Otherwise why even use that word? The air is free to anyone. How can the govt claim rights over the air? Who gave it to them? However, there must be some type of regulation (the legal aspect of things) in order to control certain activities for fairness and revenue taxes. Which would only relate to commercial aspects which should not pertain to us in our life form.

  • And this is the internet in a couple of days.

  • THESE IDIOTS WERE BREAKING FEDERAL LAW. THE fcc DID NOT HAVE WEAPONS, THOSE WERE FEDERAL MARSHALLS. THE PIRATES WERE WARNED TO STOP BREAKING FEDERAL LAW SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY CHOSE TO CONTINUE BREAKING THE LAW. LAW IS LAW, IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH THE LAW, THEN WORK TO CHANGE IT. I HOPE THEY WERE FINED AT LEAST $10,OOO..SOME JAIL TIME MAY BE GOOD FOR THEM..

  • @georgejetson400 hey skrew you fuck the fcc im a pirate radio staion skrew your self ive been on air for 2 years now and my trans mitter is now a 500 watt psc electronic transmitter suck my transmitters dick

  • @georgejetson400

There was a armed FCC Agent.

  • Why the hell does the FCC need to be armed to raid a radio station? Wouldn't simply cutting the power and waiting for them to come outside wondering WTF happened to the juice get the job done?

This government is starting to look like the Nazis sending in the SS or Gestapo.

At least there wasn't any puppies for them to execute like they do when they think there are drugs around.

  • @Badboy7357 If they cut the power then the radio dj's would have used their hippie emergency generators.

  • Its great to get on the air. I did it in 1973. We were on the air for over 9 months. NOT ON FM but AM. Right inbetween two major AM stations in Chicago. Request lines in phone booths. Record give aways. Our audience got bigger and bigger, NO POLITICS NO RELIGON! We pushed it as a non profit community service. Listed pancake breakfasts and garage sales. Played the music we wanted. We got caught. No big rais ,no cops. Just two FCC engineers in a Rambler. I wish I had the air checks..

  • Too much power in the hands of the people

  • So disregard for the LAW is ok if you spew Liberal Democrat propaganda???

  • @ibimw I hope a big nasty demon comes and eats you in your sleep

  • holy shit americas messed up if they send guys with guns to dismantle a radio station ? If the DTI come up in this shit it'll be like 2 police officers and a guy witha breifcase and the bailiff later on lol

  • "From R. Scott Communications Canada": Many many thanks to all of you in the 1990's who bought and used our Clean PLL FM Broadcast Transmitters, thank you!! It was so great to put you on the Airwaves! Free Speech from a small clean 1-5 mile station never hurt anyone. Low Power FM took us back to a time when small free speech stations were everywhere. It was so sad to see the Low Power FM Movement die out. Thanks again for using our Clean Signal 1-25 Watt FM Transmitters! It was a lot of fun!

  • @48alfaone you guys still sell em? I want one!

  • At "R. Scott Communications", we were so proud in the 1990's to put many Low Powered "Clean FM Station's" On The Air! This was done with our "PLL 88-108MHz 1-25 Watt Mono & Stereo Transmitters". This was Clean Free Speech Broadcasting, Period! How as a Free People could you say No to that? We built our Transmitters to meet the FCC / Industry Canada Spec's for a Clean FM Signal & Broadcasting! If you don't like a Station, just turn it off. "A small 4 mile Free Station never hurt the Big Boys!!

  • It is so sad that Free Speech is killed off by our own Governments on the Radio Waves! They are just Thugs-Agents working to keep the Airwaves for Mega Companies alone! This is so wrong, period! At R. Scott Com our Transmitters met FCC Spec's for clean signal, many licensed station used our Units to save money, the FCC never said they caused problems! Our Transmitters never ever caused interference!! They just don't want a Small 4 mile 20 Watt Station taking listeners away from them!

  • "From R. Scott Communications", ex builder of FM Transmitters: The FCC & Industry Canada claim that "88-108 MHz Low Power FM Transmitters (1-20 Watts)" cause interference! This is complete bullshit because: (A) Pirates use an open unused freq. to be heard. You cannot transmit 20 watts under a 10,000 watt radio station and be heard. (B) Our Transmitters and many others met the FCC spec's, plus we added a Low Pass Filter for times-2 complete clean signal & audio! Our PLL locked on the Freq.!

  • The whole problem with pirate radio, is that they use frequencies way too close to others anmd if they signal is not powerful enough it ways through others

  • pirate radio the best!!!!!

  • Controlling air waves is a necessary thing. I mean, this ties with copyright to an extent, and if you transmit on border radio/microwave spectrum, you can interrupt cellphone calls. so its a thing of copyright and messing with other devices, in my opinion. I don't like it, but without a government, some people would kill everyone else, take advantage, or reform a monarchy.

  • @PyroGuideToHappiness no way you could get it to microwave spectrum

  • FCC = volkskleinempfanger

  • Didn't have enough room but, this made me think of a Ben Franklin quote.

"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

  • I am a noob when it comes to such things as this, but please correct me if I am wrong, isn't broadcasting a form of speech?? As 14pheti5h88 said, turn the knob. If we have the freedom of assembly, as long as is doesn't interfere with others, are we forcing people to listen?? Wouldn't this be in the same boat?? Like I said, please excuse my ignorance, but I don't think the gov't should have rights to the air waves.

  • The FCC is nothing but crap, i'm not a radio operation YET!!!! The Citizens of th united states should have the right to bradcast freely!!!. Please rate thumbs up if you agree!!

  • The Mayor of Santa Cruz is an idiot. What does the war have to do with shutting down an unlicensed radio station? On the other hand, it is okay for the greedy TV networks to spew profanity and violence into our homes (court overturn FCC decency laws) and demoralize our Society?? An unlicensed radio station in poor Santa Cruz doesn't have the greenbacks. All they do is play records anyway.

  • Guys keep it up, we had no idea in the UK, youhad pirate stations, and its all about Mind Control, Frre Speech, and above having FUN. they just cannot tolerate a sense of humour and FUN. That is the ONE thing that kills their control. Check out the UK Off shore history, and the massive Irish situation that ran for over 25 years. The last big onbe was Energy106.6, which pumped a Megawtts erp into Belfast, from teh bordre.

One of the "Border Blasters" over a 15 year peiod.

  • 19 people who disliked this video are cops.

    BTW, i'm a professional musician.

  • FUCK COPS & SWAT

    A.C.A.B

  • I'm starting my own station soon, I ordered a kit already. I'll be streaming everything from Peter Tosh to Dead Kennedys.

  • I can't even get a response from the FCC when it comes to microwave weapons being used against me,

  • OK, I'm being a role of pirate radio operator in China. I just broadcast it on frequency below 87.5MHz for 3 monthes with 15Watt power. I'm giving radio fans a free air from ADs and annoying medical "consulting". All the programs are for music, academic and language study stuff, as well as NPR.

  • @Japhro77 actually we like to rant about responsibilities!!!

  • @Japhro77

It is actually about the government controlling a natural resource (spectrum). They have found a way to make money on another natural resource. Soon we will pay for air.

  • @kmg425 Yeah you're totally right, that's exactly what will happen. Screw the man, down with authority etc.

  • @kmg425 I'm more concerned that private companies will start bottling air the same way they've bottled water. To be honest people might buy it... hell I might just for the novelty of the thing.

  • Yes, pirate radio is against the law, but there should be no law in the first place. The FCC may as well be one of those bible thumping jesus groups because all they care about is keeping the airwaves clean. If someone is offended by what they hear, they have every right to TURN THE KNOB.

  • @14pheti5h88 you are right, the FCC goes after SMUT whatever that is but the corporate broadcasters actually censor important information. Only ownership limits will let us cross reference the information we are getting. Right now ownership limits have been lifted and so newspapers, radios, and tv are all coming from the same corporate censors. In 1998 the corp. broadcasters got the supreme court to declare that the news was just a business and has no need to be truthful. That´s the TRUTH!!!

  • @14pheti5h88 ugh arent bimble thumping, fascist think bible "thumping" is bad...lol You need to be thumped upside your head people do not have the irght to be immoral vulgar wrong or evil, and silliness like yours compounds your fascist sensibilities....liberty is the pursuit of Good not evil...problem is the fcc was created not to censor things that needed to be censored but so FDR could control radio...get over yourself

  • @14pheti5h88 Exactly!! When you watch tv and come across something you don't like you don't force yourself to watch it, you grab the remote and change channels. No free thought, oh no, can't have that.. You'll think what we tell you to think and like it. lol

  • You should need a license to broadcast, but the fees and procedures need to be accessable to the general populace rather than big corporations.

  • in england we survive on pirate radio.. but our plays mainly underground rave music like... dubstep/drum n bass. pirate radio stations in london get as many viewers as the normal stations and they hardly ever get shut down.

  • Hi ALL.

It is a smart idea for people to ignore the recent comments made by CBKillas.

He currently is under a FCC investigation for violations of the federal communications act.

If you want to take the same chance as CBKillas , that's your decision , but do not complain about it when your in front of the judge.

Violating federal law is not cool , it is for lawless , selfish people with diminished intelligence.

PS - ALL transmitters can be tracked down with relative ease.

  • If you guys want to build a system that really works, I have a tried and true way. Minimal investment compared to the equipment I see you using. You may lose some minimal small TX's, but they will never know it was you if you know about CTCSS, and DCS. Built two so far, they are still up and running. To prove this, I can have more than one person confirm it. I have some stuff posted on my channel, but it's nothing compared to what I really have done. Let me know.

  • I'm all for the pirates, but isn't it just easier now to go have an internet station?

  • @reverendflash It is easy that way, but I researched, and built some great equipment that is still in operation. I have challenged some of the best hams to try to find this equipment, but always came back empty. I do not run any illegal equipment as my bench is on dummy loads for testing. But, this was provided to "Pirate Radio Operators" under a waiver I drew up, and I am legal. 2 stations here, for 2 months, still going strong. It's all about timing.

  • FCC give me back 104.7 FM(Southside Chicago Englewood 2003-2004)

& give me back Street Heat Orlando,FL pirate radio

  • @medicineman2414 We will never hear Engelwood 104.7 on the air again When you piss off EVERYONE in the community you're out of luck. You need the community to suppport you . Too many bad things comming out of South Side Radio.

  • @monzavideo true but ima still miss that station n street heat with da whole mob city records thing

  • Why didn't the santa Cruz City council have the City police there to STOP the FCC?

  • Rock ON Pirates!!

  • this is bs you cant own airwaves i know there doing but you know what i mean but lets really fuck them doit online this way people can link to it and there we be no ads that what it comes down to money

  • @shortflim I have a way. I built my own equipment, sold it under contract to "Pirates", and it ALMOST impossible to find the actual "transmission" site. I fully support getting the word out as much as possible.

  • Do away with the FCC.

  • You still have to have laws and regulations. if you go through the right channels then put up a radio station but only after that!

  • An in addition to what I just posted previously, I also feel that if you are going to broadcast pirate, do your broadcast engineering homework and make sure that you aren't interfering with other stations or services. This can just be as simple as making sure that your transmitter is up to snuff and has proper harmonic filtering (or use an external harmonic filter if need be), and that your xmitting frequency is properly spaced away from adjacent stations (if possible), among other things...

Lets face it, the FCC hates low-power stations because there isn't any money in it for them, plus the NAB and others of the ilk have their guns pointed at the FCC's heads like a bunch of Chicago gangsters on a protection racket.

    Quite sad.

Pardon my multiple comments and long-windedness, it's just that 500 characters is not enough to express my opinions. Long live pirate & microradio!

And also, the FCC themselves is only interested in licensing you if you're a commercial station, they even demand to look at your ledgers, revenue coming in (or business plans if you're a new station). What about those who want to just have their voices heard, not be another moneygrubbin' capitalist bastard polluting the air with crappy manufactured pop songs and anoying commercials for 55 minutes of every hour?

very restrictive rules and requirements (such as having to be an educational or public service/safety institution, and a bare mimimum of 8 locally-originated hours of programming every day, no exceptions, which means no luck for the private citizens like you and me getting an LPFM license who have to spend those 8 hours making a living instead), and the NAB even conned the gov't into removing a lower-power 10 watt class of LPFM license.

  • (continued from previous)

The FCC is simply a lapdog lackey b i tch for all the big-money commercial broadcasters and their mafia better known as the NAB (National Association of Broadsiders, oh, i mean casters), with their slimeball snake-in-the-grass lobbyists in Capitol Hill greasing the palms of Congress to get their impetuous way. It's the NAB's racketeering that gutted the FCC's LPFM (low-power FM) licensing into absolutely nothing with...

  • To all those commentors here who say "Just get a license" or "They should just apply for a license" or "they have no right to be on the airwaves" and "they could cause a plane to crash" bla bla bla, please *SHUT UP*.

It ain't that easy to get a license form the FCC, especially if you're a low-power broadcaster. The FCC charges thou$and$ of dollars to simply *apply* for a broadcast license, and even then you are not guaranteed to get it.

  • @pvx There are clever ways 2 out run inforcement police. these guys mean buisness when it comes non license use of 88-108Mhz spectrum. I know someone whom has been doing this for 12 years and never has gotten caught. Net Radio is the way 2 go for right now, but soon as the BIG DOGS at the Fed CC take over the Net we will have 2 give it up, cause they want your money!!
