@AlwaysSerebi it depends, a MG 1/100 is more highly articulate than even a 1/100 high grade. but a 1/100 high grade is roughly the same articulation as a 1/144 hg only different size
I'm always surprised how you make the KOs look so durable, I don't even dare to touch my only KO kit in fear that it might break, it just feels so fagile...
I decided recently to get MG's and this was what I got. Our local hobby shop doesn't have a stock of Strike Freedom Full burst so this is what I got because of the number of accessories I'm getting. I really love the sword mode but the launcher mode makes more epic poses.
BTW, it's already proven that though you can get both packs together at once, it's movement would be hindered. So better have it plain strike or with either pakcs.

Enough with the arguing already, Prime puts TT hongli in the title clearly so if you don't like KO's, then don't watch it. For those who say that TT is just as good, no they are not. They are close but not exactly the same. We all love a common hobby, if you can afford Bandai then good for you, if you can't & buy TT hongli instead then hey it's your choice. In the end we speak only for ourselves and should not judge others.

I always wanted to get this kit. I just may buy this TT hongli kit just for the striker packs, though of course I'll go for the Bandai If I happen to stumble on it. Though its hard to come by since I only buy at my local hobby store. I so wanted to combine the 3 striker packs.

@jkdarlow by all means, its your money. i rather prefer quality and i treat my gunpla like i do with figures since i build n paint them like any other gunpla builders. if you build them out of the box then maybe that makes a lot more sense. you wouldnt need to sand part down. although there are people who build knock offs and paint them, they have to put a lot more work into bringing the kit as close to bandai's MG kits.
in the end, youre sacrificing quality for cheaper price so ehhhhhh

Hell If I am honest I might buy this because I already have the (Bandai) Aile Strike and the official version of this is quite steeply priced.
@broodjebamibal compared to other brands like koto and wave for instance, bandai is best bang for your buck if youre planning to get mecha kits. the price for the MG strike with both packs are justified for the time.
what i dont like bout the kit are those manipulators. at least the strike e makes up for it even though the last 3 fingers arnt ball joints meaning little to no modding options to split the fingers in 3 like other kits like the zaku II and unicorn
@Wolfenhiem Just chill out buddy. You don't have to feel compelled to reply to every single comment which is in favor of TT Hongli kits. We all know Bandai kit are great and any KO will always be less in terms of quality.
I have the Strike with the Aile pack, one of the most badass armed gundam I have, love the insane huge claymore he has. The ankle guard does not pop off on mine. As for the Sword vs Launcher, that's where I love the SD version, since that one can equip both sets at the same time without issue.
Knock off or not I see it this way if the knock off is good the bandai must be awesome, and just because someone buys knock offs doesn't make them anyless of a modeler seeing as what Prime92's done with knock offs on her customs I'd say she's a pretty good modeler so lay off you haters.
Here's a couple things folks, These Knockoff reviews are also helping expose the companies to Bandai, also TT Hongli only exists in China because the Chinese Government probably disallowed imports from Bandai. Remember folks, China is a Communist Market. They control what the people can and can't buy and enjoy.
Is there any problems that is exclusive to the tt hongli 1/100 mp sword/launcher strike, besides the foot guard?( i.e glueing, hands, loose joints,... etc)

the real version is pretty good i like Launcher Strike The Most. Try Putting the aile Launcher or Sword on the Strike Freedom cause the hard points are the same. The Aile Pack looks good on it
Can you combine the three original Striker Packs onto one Strike (like with the SD version of the Strike)? You'd have to take the Aile Pack from the other MG, but I'd think it could work.

The main problem with having all Striker Packs together is - EVERYTHING GETS IN EACH OTHER'S WAY. Strike will barely be able to move an inch, let alone pull a dynamic pose, even on an Action Base, when all the packs are mounted simultaneously. Even if you only utilize the Aile backpack and ditch the Sword and Launcher backpacks, all the extra kibble will just knock against each other and parts will come off as you try to pose it.
I never liked the Strike Gundam to be honest. I thought it was a ripoff of Liger Zero(Interchangeable armor, one for blades, one for power, one for speed, one blue, one green, one orange/red, only changing the outer frame), but this actually looks good.

The strike is the best gundam I've ever owned(i had almost every suit from the one year war series)this suit is super posable. The only problems I found out is his combat knives are tooo small and hard to get out but thats about it! the strike has two other modes the launcher&sword the launcher easy to find but the sword strike isn't(the packs that will fit on this one's back) Bandai has made sword in 4.5 but i can't find it and trust me you'll want the other two also!!! :)))))))))))))))

@jkdarlow by all means, its your money. i rather prefer quality and i treat my gunpla like i do with figures since i build n paint them like any other gunpla builders. if you build them out of the box then maybe that makes a lot more sense. you wouldnt need to sand part down. although there are people who build knock offs and paint them, they have to put a lot more work into bringing the kit as close to bandai's MG kits.
in the end, youre sacrificing quality for cheaper price so ehhhhhh

@broodjebamibal compared to other brands like koto and wave for instance, bandai is best bang for your buck if youre planning to get mecha kits. the price for the MG strike with both packs are justified for the time.
what i dont like bout the kit are those manipulators. at least the strike e makes up for it even though the last 3 fingers arnt ball joints meaning little to no modding options to split the fingers in 3 like other kits like the zaku II and unicorn

I have the Strike with the Aile pack, one of the most badass armed gundam I have, love the insane huge claymore he has. The ankle guard does not pop off on mine. As for the Sword vs Launcher, that's where I love the SD version, since that one can equip both sets at the same time without issue.

Here's a couple things folks, These Knockoff reviews are also helping expose the companies to Bandai, also TT Hongli only exists in China because the Chinese Government probably disallowed imports from Bandai. Remember folks, China is a Communist Market. They control what the people can and can't buy and enjoy.

Do you guys really think Bandai is in trouble and that a secondary market for cheap and inferior copies are going to kill the company? Not likely.
But honestly, I don't think Prime92 should continue doing knockoff reviews, especially since Prime's review style is more factual than subjective. Telling us something we can't get has good articulation is really none of our business anymore.
But don't get me wrong. If you want to continue doing these reviews, its up to you. Its your channel.

the real version is pretty good i like Launcher Strike The Most. Try Putting the aile Launcher or Sword on the Strike Freedom cause the hard points are the same. The Aile Pack looks good on it

Can you combine the three original Striker Packs onto one Strike (like with the SD version of the Strike)? You'd have to take the Aile Pack from the other MG, but I'd think it could work.

The main problem with having all Striker Packs together is - EVERYTHING GETS IN EACH OTHER'S WAY. Strike will barely be able to move an inch, let alone pull a dynamic pose, even on an Action Base, when all the packs are mounted simultaneously. Even if you only utilize the Aile backpack and ditch the Sword and Launcher backpacks, all the extra kibble will just knock against each other and parts will come off as you try to pose it.

I never liked the Strike Gundam to be honest. I thought it was a ripoff of Liger Zero(Interchangeable armor, one for blades, one for power, one for speed, one blue, one green, one orange/red, only changing the outer frame), but this actually looks good.

The strike is the best gundam I've ever owned(i had almost every suit from the one year war series)this suit is super posable. The only problems I found out is his combat knives are tooo small and hard to get out but thats about it! the strike has two other modes the launcher&sword the launcher easy to find but the sword strike isn't(the packs that will fit on this one's back) Bandai has made sword in 4.5 but i can't find it and trust me you'll want the other two also!!! :)))))))))))))))
