skateboarding is my life. i blow off my friends, to skate a small 4. a lot of people smoke weed cause of skating, but i dont. because in the time that i could be smoking weed, i could also be getting down those hardflips. in a sense, skating has kept me out of trouble, but then again kept me in it. its " my best friend, but also my enemy" i never skated to get sponsosred, ive skated simply because, i have to.

@LILGE510 i skateboard too and i think its an enjoyable pastime. but its more or less just flipping a piece of wood with your feet and then riding away..not something to blow all of your friends for. that's what women are for. also, weed only enhances the feeling of landing a sick trick and it only takes a few moments to get stoned (ex. quick hot box on the way to the skatepark to then breakdown and analyze the logistics of mastering a hardflip). skateboarding is part of my life, I'm high.

I don't like SB's I find they have been in the game, sure, developed to skate but not really developed to be DVS, LAKAI, EMERICA, SUPRAS, GLOBE, or CIRCAS and ETNIES. I have had 5 pairs of NIKE SB shoes and I find that the Sole runs thin faster and the fabric on the tip of the shoe is nothing like LAKAI for one. Lakai Manchesters will run out of sole before you run out of toe.

Atleast as a hardcore ripper who buys shoes every 3 weeks :O

@40ozFluid I don't think their intention was to develop them to belike those brands. I think they intended them to be better. Imo they are amazing. I have had other Nike SB shoes and they sucked. The P rod's shoe is a completely different shoe. If you tried them on then tried another pair of SBs, you wouldn't even think Nike made both of those. Also in my original statement I said Emerica was a very close second. The Reynolds and Hsu models are amazing. I Heard Herman's shoe was really good too.

@40ozFluid I guess I just don't focus on school more than Skateboarding, I find school just relatively boring (I mean who doesn't? :P) I'll listen to the teacher and everything I just won't write anything down, or do the homework (big portion of my mark.) Also I ace all the Test, Quizzes, Provincial Exams . And my parents strictly forbid me to touch any substance of drugs unless prescribed by a Professional and Certified Health worker . I've been skateboarding for 1 year and 7 months so far .

Pay attention in math, and stop using a calculator.

Pay attention in english.

You don't necessarily have to go to school to learn all the info for the mainstream.

Take what you need for your lifestyle. Don't quit skateboarding, but just take the time to enjoy a board under your feet. School will help you be better at skateboarding, mostly because anytime you train your brain, your training the same neurons that help you perform well on a board and muscle retention so you can lock tricks all come from a healthy diet of learning other things to make it big.
