Wow, boring box or what! Mine [in the UK] came in a long thin white box with loads of colour pictures on it! strange how they come in different boxes huh?
Well the NB100 has only one configuration, while the aspire one has many different hardware configurations such as Operating systems, RAM and hard drive space. I have a friend with an aspire one and he enjoys it, but I don't like the touch pad on them as the buttons are on the side and a bilingual keyborad in Canada. I highly recommend going into a store and typing on a few different models, and find the one you like the best. What works for one person, doesn't always work for another.
like this netbook and i'm thinking of buying it but i have a question . i am a pokerplayer and id like to know if i can play poker on this little toshiba nb100....... so can u please upload a video with a poker room so i will know if poker can run on this netbook ....thank you
The power adaptor is about the size of a candy bar, and it can run off of UK power sources with a cheep travel plug adaptor from any department store. As long as it's between 100-240V and 50-60Hz it's all good.
I have not tested the mic, but the speakers don't go very loud. I use headphones for the most part so this doesn't bother me much. I have a new desk lamp and just made a carrying case for the laptop, so I might get around to that second video this weekend.
Depends on what you want to do with it. I got it to take with me and chat on MSN and such while I am away from my desktop at home. As a matter of fact, I am in my car using it to type this right now. It runs MSN Live messenger and Mail just fine and it's not lacking any speed. Not a gamer by any means, but I will post a new vid with a reiew of gaming and performance in a few days.
I have that netbook with windows 7 home premium and works perfectly. (Including aero)
Windows 7 gives me experience evaluation 2.1
Please update the bios, if you want to install windows 7

neither are better. i recommend the advent 4213.
but if i had to choose out of those two, it would be the aspire one.

LOL, it was a very dark video!
You could have lit up the keyboard layout with a torch or with your cell phone lamp?
Is the audio part (stereo speakers + mic) very good as usual with Toshiba?
Thank you
