Sorry, the "pancake" theory fails in the face of near free fall speed. What you suggest is the intact lower floors, over 435,000 tons of meshed steel and concrete, had no kinetic friction and offered little more resistance than thin air. It takes much more energy than gravity offers to "pancake" the building at ANYTHING NEAR free fall speed.

A high power rile bullet travels at 2500 FPS, propelled by force of the exploding charge, whereas you admit the upper block started with zero energy and only had gravity to power its fall.
And the WTC were not made of sheets of paper, but steel and concrete. The collapse started by dropping one floor. Hitting each floor below it exchanged this momentum for kinetic energy, slowing the decent, not speeding it up. Basic physics.
Oh, BTW. An object free falling from the top of the Twin Towers would take 9 seconds to reach the ground.
The collapse time for the south tower was 15 seconds. The collapse time for the north tower was 22 seconds. Neither of which is anywhere close to free fall speed.
BTW, in NIST's FAQ"S report- Section 6, NIST estimated the collapse times at 11 seconds for WTC1 and 9 seconds for WTC2 which is endorsed on page 305 of the 9/11 Commission report. You disagree? Take it up with NIST.
Even if the collapse time was 22 seconds, that's still to fast to account for conservation of momentum,
UNLESS there was something more than just gravity that disintegrated the floors ahead of the collapse allowing the momentum to gain instead of slow.

Sorry, the "pancake" theory fails in the face of near free fall speed. What you suggest is the intact lower floors, over 435,000 tons of meshed steel and concrete, had no kinetic friction and offered little more resistance than thin air. It takes much more energy than gravity offers to "pancake" the building at ANYTHING NEAR free fall speed.

Your experiment does not simulate the WTC collapses.
A high power rile bullet travels at 2500 FPS, propelled by force of the exploding charge, whereas you admit the upper block started with zero energy and only had gravity to power its fall.
And the WTC were not made of sheets of paper, but steel and concrete. The collapse started by dropping one floor. Hitting each floor below it exchanged this momentum for kinetic energy, slowing the decent, not speeding it up. Basic physics.

The collapse time for the south tower was 15 seconds. The collapse time for the north tower was 22 seconds. Neither of which is anywhere close to free fall speed.

BTW, in NIST's FAQ"S report- Section 6, NIST estimated the collapse times at 11 seconds for WTC1 and 9 seconds for WTC2 which is endorsed on page 305 of the 9/11 Commission report. You disagree? Take it up with NIST.
Even if the collapse time was 22 seconds, that's still to fast to account for conservation of momentum,
UNLESS there was something more than just gravity that disintegrated the floors ahead of the collapse allowing the momentum to gain instead of slow.

I hope you really do read the list. Sure a couple of coincidences may happen, but 40 in a day stretches the laws of probability. Explain half and you still got 20 reasons for a new investigation.

I saw on the 9/11 myths website that the laws of physics don't apply to Al Qaeda attacks cause they use magic to knock buildings down.

I watched your video. And as I said, there's nothing shooting out the side of the building that can be identified as part of an aircraft. All you have is a dark colored mass of debris with no details to indicate its composition.

Conservation of momentum wasn't violated.
When the upper block first fell, it started from zero energy and then gained momentum. After smashing through the first floor, it had energy left over. So it wasn't starting from zero when it went to the next floor in line.
And so it went, not only did the falling mass keep gaining energy, but it also got bigger as each destroyed floor added to its total mass.

Look, I will admit that the official story has some holes. it's not perfect. I wouldn't mind another investigation but I don't buy the truthers explanation. It wasn't CD's and it certainly wasn't a beam from space or remote controlled airplanes.

Just a reminder that not all Truthers believe in CDs or space beams or other radical nonsense lumped onto legitimate 9/11 researchers. What all Truthers do have in common is a call for a new public and impartial investigation which, as even you admit, could answer some of the questions that are causing so much ugly, mean spirited debate and name calling.
If the "debunkers" are so sure they are right, why do they oppose an investigation that could vindicate them and end the wild theories?

The vast majority believe that crazy stuff. Those are the people that the people in the video are addressing. Skeptics are typically the ones that are civil and engage in meaningful debates like you. I've also never met a debunker who opposed a new investigation. They just think it wouldn't accomplish anything.

I'll refer you to a web site called Patriots Question 9/11 listing over 1400 architects, pilots, professors, military officials, and more who's one uniting belief is that the official 9/11 is not true.
The reason for the widespread belief in CDs is the evidence, offered by FEMA itself, of molten steel, which debunkers try to deny even exists.
And every debunker I have debated opposes a new investigation for the very reason you state, but still can't explain away the LIHOP case I present.

For every pilot or architect that questions the official story there are 2 more that say it is possible. Frankly, the debunkers I have as friends don't deny molten steel, they just believe it doesn't prove anything. I believe I showed you a video that had a worker talking about their being molten metal almost 6 weeks later. That doesn't prove there were explosives. Not to mention the absence of any explosions.

I'm sure there are many Truthers who have not done their own research and just believe all the crazy stuff that people like Alex Jones present, just as there many debunkers who rely on the crazy stuff presented by Popular Mechanics and Screw Loose Change. But I wouldn't consider any of these people legitimate researchers.
The reason I made this video is to expose the huge amount of hate directed at anyone who questions 9/11. Have you seen any videos that attack debunkers with such venom?
