how do you get the banana insides without breaking the shell ? slicing it into half or 1/3 is acceptable, but u wanna stuff it lather & the shell must be intact or the filling will flow out if u put it into oven. Any idea how to do that?
so sorry for the 55 seconds of you life wasted on this video that might better have been dedicated to your more productive banana poop research.elsewhere as you spend your banana poop research grant in pursuit of your banana poop doctorate. good luck with that. 8-/
But this method would suffer all the same drawbacks as opening from the stem end. If you can't break it with your thumb you'd smush the top third while opening.
I have not much "struggled" with a banana before, maybe because I prefer bananas that are neither too green nor too ripe. Some of my motive for the upside-down opening is for stay-together garbage with a centered handle. Seeing my video, I now want to peel the top into the curve of the banana (so the tab hangs on the shorter lenght of peel).
Still, the bottom seems easier (smaller and maybe less fibered) than the handle end, to pry open.
thanks for the comment.... not sure why it didn't work for you... it has worked for me repeatedly for a year... naturally the older the banana, the more the peel falls apart in all directions (more peel/goo left on the banana, etc.)
the title of this video suggests that there are people out there using poop to open bananas.

That's how Asian people open a banana. I prefer to pop the stem because it is easier for me. You get the nasty strings from peeling from either end.

Ok, it works except it is much more harder if the banana is not ripe all the way. :)

That looks different than when I was trying to open it on that same end.
Cool though! :)
