Where I disagree with liberals on a lot of issues is this: Liberals tend to think that the government has the ability, or rather, the responsibility, to guarantee things for everyone.
This country was not and shouldn't be about entitlement. Ed said, "I believe everyone deserves a good shot at education". This is true. They deserve a SHOT, but that doesn't mean they are ENTITLED to it. They should have to earn it. However, those who advocate the welfare state want everyone to be 'owed' things.
Controlling Our Food is a pretty good documentary (albeit dry) regarding this company.
Now, one might watch that video and say "Ahah! Proof we need more oversight!" However, maybe you should be saying "Ahah! This is a perfect example of how bloated federal programs can be bought out and run by corporations, thereby providing a more dangerous false sense of security (one that Ed certainly seems to share)!"
Google "controlling our food". This movie centers around how one company has their hand in a lot of food (genetically altered soy beans and milk for starters). The same company has lied about multiple things and has been sued successfully many many times.
I'm looking forward to seeing Food Inc. I expect they will go into the problems of the department of agriculture a bit too.
Another interesting vid, although not related to agriculture can be found by searching you tube for twinkie vs torch.
I'm an American and I don't want the department of agriculture. Then again, I have cognitive listening skills so you may be unfamiliar with my demographic.
I completely agree that you are the Bill O'Reilly of MSNBC as basicaustin said. However, I disagree that Ron Paul gave into surrender. In my view, Ron Paul simply allowed you to make yourself look like a complete fool.
Calling a man who talks about following the Constitution & the Bill of rights Crazy & Psycho is excatly why our nation is doomed to failure! when our economy & dollar crashes only Ron Paul & Jessie Venture will remain to get us out of this Mess!

Ron Paul is an intelligent guy and good at debating, but Ed completely owned him this time.

I totally agree about Obama. He's fallen through on a lot of his promises (except those that expand federal gov.)
Look for "Rachel Maddow: Indefinite detention" video on youtube. Be ready to see some ignorant and short sighted comments though.

The one thing that jumps out at me is Ed loves the Constitution BUT...
If you disagree with the Constitution, you are suppose to change it not ignore it.

Dear Ed,

Ed, please think a bit longer before you speak.
Thanks.
