hell yeah 250 rider was LOADS better than the 1000 rider- he kept up with him pretty damn well considering he has more than four times the power!

if you never ridden before get something unfaired like a hornet or bandit 250, etc. cbr's can be hard to control at low speed & dropping it results in an expensive fix....I have not seen an original one without scratches for a while including mine!

What ever you do though dont get a cb250!!!

Other option is get a good suzuki rg250 for $1000 if you can find one ebay - just as fast as the cbr but lighter & more upright

He did the right thing at 4:53 letting go of the bike. holding onto anybike when your going down you will always come out badly. I have came off my wee cbr 125 and done some severe damage to me and the bike but if i didnt let go, i would have gone through the rear window and have been an additional passenger in the taxi i crashed into :) lol.

i should really stop watching so many videos on the CBR250. Im gonna be buying my 1st bike in a couple of weeks n Im trying to convince myself to be conservative n buy a CB250.... but the CBR is sooo awesome!!!!!!

yeah the rvf400r is lams it is the newer version of the vfr400 after they stopped making them in 94, both are awesome bikes neither the vfr or rvf cant be better

I heard the RVF was slightly restricted in power by a smaller throttle body. This apparently made it a whole lot better to ride.

@Antonio001z CBR, no replacement for displacement. Although the VFR is alot of fun hammering out of corners. But the CBR can do it quicker.

@vspec2wrx plus the vfr i would recommend the 400cc bike not the 200, vfr 200 will get beaten easily by a cbr.

Rider is very good..Had a CBR250RR Blade myself 8 years back and was really an amazing bike.

A new 1000CC CBR is outta there, has to be anyway.

But the 250 is way lighter and can swing from a left corner to a right very fast with no worries.

But still, such a smaller rear wheel and a high RPM 19+ on that 250 made it spin.

He was so competitive that he pushed it over its limits there.

That's how it is sometimes..

LoL hows all the nubz upright on there bikes going around corners :-o at a track. Really enjoyed the 250 vs the 1000 though, i know what its like, at Eastern Creek and Oran Park the only places the bigger bikes usually ping you is down the straight and you take them again fast into turn one. Unlucky with the off at the end :-D
