A multiplayer (többjátékos) mód nem működik. A dobozos játékkal együtt megvett Master Server (az a számítógép, ami tíz éve még összehozta az AvP2 játékosokat) hozzáférés felejtős. A kiadó megszüntette. Nem érte meg neki fenntartani, a kb. kétszáz fanatikus játékos miatt. :(

Avp 2.. 2001... Man, great memories, playin this as a kid. The next gen AVP or AVP 3 is good too, but it's too easy. As a pro in old AVP's, i'm able to own everyone on xbox 360... that's just not the same. The only good thing is graphics and melle combat system ^^

@Ramirezoid Look at it this way. AVP1 on PC in 1999 was made by Rebellion and is STILL played by people after 11 years. AVP2 was made by Sierra and Monolith, same addictingly fun gameplay, but if I could choose who made AVP games, I'd choose Rebellion. They did a good job on AVP and the AVP Arcade game.

well, i do miss AVP2, it was my heritage as far as FPS games,NagyBalazs, i hope your planning to buy the new AVP scheduled for later this month (unless its been delayed, id have to check) its being made by the people who CREATED AVP as a PC FPS Series - Rebellion, they made the 1999 original which was epic in all manners of the word, AVP2 was just as good if not somewhat better gameplay wise, lets hope this new AVP will once again break our expectations, when it releases, ill see you in MP :)

(under WinXp, the original game, on an PC configuration with single-core processor, runs without any problem. I know that, becouse I've tried that.).

I liked it, when I was Facehugger in the AvP2. They're mutch more faster (and weaker) than any other Alien class. And I liked to be a Queen. That class is mutch more harder (and slower) than any other Alien.

Different abilities, different tastes of the game. You may like them, or you may like them not: no matter. Belive me: those classes (Facehugger/Queen) are good.

The balance of the game: that's an other question.

There is a game, for the Sony's PSP (PlayStation Portable) platform, where you can act/play like a Predator. Hell! A plenty of animated pictures are better than that game.

You may hunt down Aliens in this game as well, but this happens anytime exactly the same way...

This game is scripted like hell. You'll be bored with this PSP game in five seconds.

AND, there aren't humans in this game. Compared with PC games, it's a crap. It's no better than a lot of animated GIF or PNG pictures.

No. There's no game like AvP nor AvP2 for PSP. The PSP platform (the machine, in itself) is remarkable powerful. But, it's not powerfull enough for any really entertaining 3D game. My friendly advices are:

1) Forget PSP!

2) Buy any real gaming machine. I mean, PS2. Or buy an old, outdated and cheap PC P4 configuration. With WindowsXP, dedicated vodeocard within!!!

3.1) If You bought PS2, play Concrete Jungle on it.

3.2) If You bought a PC with Windows, play the AvP or Avp2 game on it.
