Got this on round 24 solo last night...to kinda answer my own question, every single time the excavators activated I got the warning right at the beginning of the round and had roughly 3 minutes to hack it, which wasn't too bad of a rush until the last one at rnd 24

can anyone tell me if you can hack an excavator on its second turn, e.g bio dome has gone off twice, meaning you hacked it the first time for the achievement? basically so that once its started digging and you have already hacked it once, it wont appear again? if that makes sense to any readers lol

This achievement sucks ass, tried it on three ocasions on solo now, giving up twice at round 20 then even dying at 31 last night with only 2 excavators going off! all the doors were open, and tunnels 11 and 6 breached twice, without the biodome never getting a chance to be fucked up. can someone give me tips please? or is it just luck like usual

Guys the excavators seriously take about 4-5 minutes to start grinding. Just stay on the outside area as you can do a rape train and jump and float. By the time you hear the bitch talk you can pop inside get the hacker go to the teleport and hack away. Good tip is to have at least one shotgun and if your on a high level upgrade it. You don't wanna be running through a door with a swarm of zombies on the otherside when running to the teleporter. Plus it's a quick way to kill as it's one shot, on

@iBeastInFeRno They do two things; when they breach, they remove the oxygen in a certain area. However, two out of the three excavators can block a doorway; the two paths leading from spawn. If both are active and your at spawn without a hacker, you'll be trapped there because of both paths being blocked.

@iBeastInFeRno No problem haha, you can actually do it solo. You just have to be a good rape trainer (Look up Syndicate's videos on it). You can train in the Bio Dome (Look up DJHes's videos for that), and just have your hacker on you. When you hear that a breach is coming, go to the teleporter quickly before you're out of breath, and you'll be in spawn. Hack the excavator. Rinse and repeat till you're done (it's advised to have the Wave Gun). I'm doing it right now actually.

@iBeastInFeRno Yeah, just if you are already good at rape training, look up DJHes's video on "Solo Infinite 40+". He goes into the biodome. Also, I'd suggest having Juggernog, PhD, Speed Cola and Mule Kick. Get a Ray Gun, Wave Gun, and PaP your pistol (Use the pistols on the astronaut, Wave Gun in a pinch and Ray Gun when training). Also, do you know how to get Juggernog in Area 51? It helps tons, as does the Bowie Knife. Just keep doing the strat. till you get all three excavators. I did it. :)

@Rcool18 The only way to escape is to jump into a Gersch or let an Astronaut grab you and teleport you... Gersch is preferred because the Gersch doesn't take perks. Syndicate was in the same situation solo, he called it a "Game Breaker", which it really is. There's no good spots at spawn so you're pretty much fucked.

Something's fishy. Omicron to excavate Tunnel 11 was first, then Pi to excavate Tunnel 6, but then Omicron came back to excavate Tunnel 11. The third was supposed to be the excavator to tear into the Bio-dome, so that's why you didn't get it. That is pretty sweet that you got them to come that quickly though!

But that means that once you stop them, @IVIOLDY they can very much still come back.

To everyone watching this: The Excavators descednd onto the base and begin cutting through it at any random round once you turn the power on, the only way to get this achievement is to have the power on, thus you have to work fast and smart and follow this guide. ^
