Thunderbird was a jerk so maybe they only needed one jerk... Though Thunderbird was a strongman and they had Colossus...

Great Design His Nephew the former Hellion Warpath would wear it in X-Force.

I actually like Thunderbird and his design. They should've used him again instead of Dazzler in Pryde of the X-Men.

Also, Warpath is Thunderbird's younger brother. He wore that costume as a Hellion, when he tried to kill Professor X. Of course, Charles helps him see the error of his ways and he joins the New Mutants. He did wear it later in the early days of X-Force, with big red shoulderpads. :)

@Supertron5000 True it was the beginning. His 4 issue mini series that came out in 1982 is what started Logan Legend. HIS BROTHER? that's right lol. He was Huge as big as Colossus fighting the juggernaut at one time X-Force had great potential too. there views and actions were in between the Extreme Left of the X-MEN and the Extreme Right of the Brother Hood those three factions would've made a great T.V series....God I hate Hollywood lol.

@flord777 Funny, this episode had 3 Top level mutants (Prof X, Storm, Iceman), Thunderbird, Class 100 tons Colossus, teleporting Nightcrawler...and the only consistent super-being was Spidey. All else was pretty much use-less here, Iceman cracks jokes but is terribly crappy here. Storm might as well have stayed home, Colossus was just embarassing knocking HIMSELF out.

Thunderbird is the original one, and part of the x-men. He does die in the comic (i forgot how) and then Warpath shows up in X-Force later on.

He died about 5 issues into the series since his first appearance in Giant Size Uncanny X-Men 1, the issue where Cyclops takes a new team of X-Men to save the original team from the Island of Krakoa.
