  • I remember that feeling. Wait, never mind... I can't remember... lol

Pure genius on the song choice. Nothing like a little upbeat doo-wop scat to keep you oriented. xD

  • i prefer Keitel in the club scene in "Bad Lieutenant" to the tune of "Let's Get High" by Lords of Acid... it's just cooler and more chaotic, but that's just me

  • My favorite part of this movie. I will be #100 for liking this. thanks for uploading.

  • @mcat2317 you're most welcome :D One of the best movie scenes ever, in my opinion

  • @mircu2004 Definitely one of the best. Along with the walk through the back way at the Copa in Goodfellas.

  • Anyone know how they would film that?

  • @Nanotech92 Strap the Camera to Keitels chest

  • 2 dislikers are mooks.

  • Now I know where Guy Ritchie got the pissed scene from in lock, stock.

  • Play only old ones...ONLY old ones.

  • Scorsese's style...

  • I HAVE 74325432 MEMORIES LIKE THIS

  • This was like being at my boy Eric's parties!!! We miss you bro... R.I.P.

    He loved this shit!!

  • how many times has this scene been copied?

  • @howsaboutno not sure, but i make a re-shoot of it every once a week or so $-)

  • One if the movies best scenes- I can't get that sing out of my head every time I watch it!

  • i watched this movie like two monthes ago

i still remember this scene XD

  • when your pissed this is how it really is... brilliant!!!!

  • This is why Scorsese is the genius he is today.

  • i watched this while i was drunk last night. i felt like i was in sync with harvey. was he really loaded during this scene?

  • The best drunk scene on film!

  • really love it!

  • One of the best film sequences of being pissed ever

  • I can picture myself doing that on Friday nights. LOL!!!!

  • richiiie Aprile^^ the sopranos

  • My favorite scene out of the entire scene, the music and the way Scorsese shot Keitel is just gallsy

  • guess aronofsky wasnt d pioneer of snorricam.

  • Just a taste of Marty's brilliant skills of filmmaking. I love this film and I really like this scene.

  • CHE BOMBA! Harvey keitel strafattissimo è una BOMBA

  • I believe this is one of the first uses of the snorriecam although I could be mistaken

  • Meanstreets -Martin Scorsese's Accidental Masterpiece....De Niro's Debut, ....But I Always Modelled Myself on Harvey Keitel... -Difficult, Conflicting Priorities, -As For Every Young Man....

The Whole Film Orbited Around Keitel...

    -Bless You Harvey.

  • This is totally every weekend I get drunk, lol.

  • Harvey reminds me so much of Gene Hackman, Robert DeNiro, and Al Pacino.

  • the grreatest combonation ever

  • Not to be picky, but this version of the song was not done by the Blues Brothers; it was done by the Chips.

  • right. thanks for the info, i changed the description

  • did you ever hear? of a wish sandwich? well its the kind of a sandwich that you's supposed to take: 2 pieces of bread, and *wish* you had some meat :)))))

  • this scene is eerily familiar to many of my nights. too bad scorsese isn't there to film my escapades. (by the way, great flick and great post!)

  • thanks :) i love the scene too, reminds me of some of my parties

  • Nowadays, this is actually a lesser-known Scorsese picture. It's a shame, because it's one of his best.

  • @WeJustGotColorTV

It's a great film with a GREAT soundtrack!!

  • @deniseaustinlover I completely agree, also, Scorsese's films have had some of the best pieces of music used in his movies, and "Casino" has the best soundtrack of any movie that I've seen

  • @WeJustGotColorTV More like "obscure" (than "lesser known). It is without question, one his his best movies. IMO, it is probably 1 of the best movies of it's kind/genre & arguably 1 of the best to come out of the 1970's "New Hollywood" era. It's 1 of my all time favorite movies. I bought in on VHS & then DVD, & I also have an .avi. I watch it at least once a year. It's just 1 of "those" movies. To add or subtract any part to/from the film, would literally be an act of film vandalism.

  • This is a brilliant scene which is a great snapshot of the craziness of 70s New York.

That song is totally crazy and he looks completely wrecked, and probably not just on booze. :)

  • THIS IS IT!!! When Tony tells Michael to "play only oldies tonight".....check out what hes got in his left hand!!! Gin with an AQUA VELVA chaser! I wanna party with this crew!!! And the music ain't too bad either!!!

  • Old School Drink!

  • rofl they're all plastered in this scene

  • the scene is epic

  • We've all been there man.

  • Amen to that..

  • yea i loved it too :D thanks for the comment

  • Lmao, great scene, that crazy arse song fits it perfectly haha
