This scene is way to emotional to watch sometimes. Their acting is so so real at times that you forget that they are acting. Man, I just cant stop crying.
I wouldn't say this alone contributed to the shows downfall but it started this cycle, GF didn't get nominated either for this story. This would cause her to feel disrespected in comparison to TG contributing in her leaving the show The end of LnL left Sonny and Carly to take over mob and violence saturation, coupled with killing off vets, firing vets, broken families, and characters written out of character.
I will never forget that! it was so sad Liz and lucky were such a great couple still my all time favorite her and jonathan jackson it ws such a shame he decided to leave the show at that time.
I cry everytime I see this video. I remember watching it when it happened on TV and I cried like a baby. I had it recorded on VHS and watched it over and over but somehow recorded over it and now everytime I watch it, I still cry. RH deserved an Emmy for this scene.

@marebearx3 Oh she's with all the other characters that got ruined to make the mob molls (Sam and Carly namely) look like good people. They had to make Liz a bad person so that Sam could be whitewashed. They did the same with Jax for Carly. It's ridiculous how the mob has ruined this show.

I'm sorry, but given the war "Liasons" are raging I got to laugh as I see Liz not even looking at Jason, and Jason standing like a stone (no pun intended) through the whole thing, even when Liz collapses.
In seriousness, I do think Rebecca was wonderful, and the scene is a heartbreaker.
This is why I love Becky, well this and the rape scenes. Also, I am a Liason and an LL2 fan. It is possible not to be about just one couple on the show. I am a Becky and Liz fan and not trying to wage any war. :o)
Fair enough, and well said. :o) I am definitely a Rebecca fan, too. That's actually one of the biggest reasons I am frustrated; she should be a leading lady and have big stories, but I just hate the way Guza played this thing from the bottom of the deck, and how it seems to come down to "winner take all."

I recall Jason hated Sam and tried to pay her to get out of town, Carly wished Jax had never existed at one point, Sonny wished Carly would have left town and never come back because he despised her...yet...they all got together. *shaking my head*

I think in the long term of everything Lucky and Liz has and always should belong together and making Lucky look like an ass is wrong to justifie a Liason reunion. I just think if JJ never left and would have never been an issue. Besides GV is doing an Emmy Award Winning job. Excelltely blame the writers and those stupid Liason fans for what they are doing to Lucky because I don't know about you but when I saw Monday 09/18/06 episode it made me very sad to see Lucky crying for Liz in front of her Grandma's door I thought it was disgraceful, he deserves better treatment to his character's legacy. And that scene is enough to tell me Liz belong's with Lucky work it out writer's

oh my gosh I cried when I saw that again. Lucky and Liz were the whole reason I started watching GH. It's not the same with out JJ. The current Lucky doesn't have the same soft spoken, tenderness, and emotion.
