But I heard, like most shows, as it went on it got better so I was thinking about checking it out. But it's not instant play on netflix or anything and I want to watch it from the beginning so I haven't got around seeing it. I'll probably check it out sometime soon though.

As for the "Office/Parks and Rec - Which is better?" dilemma, both are good in their own rights. The US Office was amazing for the first three seasons. After Pam and Jim got together, the show lost some steam with them. As for Michael and Dwight, the show decided t turn the into typical Laurel and Hardy like characters. But the show has been getting slightly better in it's current season now.

As for P&R, season one was a warm up. Season 2 is where the show has been beaming.

The funniest thing about your show is, the Office stopped being funny when it tossed being subtle deadpan humour and went the route of being over the top slapstick, where every sentence needed to be a one-liner. There used to be characters you could relate to while having a clueless boss; now it's not even an office but a room where people crack jokes and go home. Which is obviously what draws you to it... comedy where you don't have to think too much

I gotta say no matter how much I love the Office, I just find this show so much better. You gotta admit The Office is getting so crap as well, ever since they did that stupid "re-run" episode where Toby is reliving a bunch of moments from previous episodes with that guy... that was the point of decline for The Office.

Every single character on the show is hilarious. Andy, Tom, April, Ron, Leslie, Donna. The only one who isn't funny is Mark.

I gotta disagree with you that he needs to change or leave. Hear me out here, the show can't have every character be "lovable" or even funny for that matter. There has to be normal unfunny people who contrast the funny ones.

Mark is boring and stuff, but does he need to be to make the show funny? He's there to be just that, the boring one.

Okay, good point. :) These type of shows usually need to have at least one "straight man/ straight woman" who contrasts all the others, much like Jim and Pam on The Office. I think the problem with Mark was that the writers were uncertain of what kind of character he would end up being at first. Even Paul Shneider has said that he struggled with that in the first season, not knowing exactly how he was supposed to play the role. I just hope that him and Anne get more to do in later episodes.
