  • A new song came out, it was by justin b, I listened to the song it was a piece of crap. (PIECE OF CRAAAAAAAAAP)

  • Every time I see folks buying Coor's light ,I think of this song.

  • @littlewolf60 LOL

  • Lol.. I think the video you put to this is hysterical....

  • @barbergreg hehe. TY glad you appreciated it.

  • Just like all the old trucks, made with American steel and still running. Today they're are all plastic Chinese products, piece of crap!

  • @jess1up Consume consume consume. Make it like crap so it wil break and we will continue the cycle. Cept this time around things are oh...just a *tad* bit different.

  • @curiousgeorge555 I don't know what you're talking about.

  • @jess1up I assume you are joking.

  • @curiousgeorge555 You are so very right. If it wasn't for america's love of crap China wouldn't be so rich and powerful today.

  • I've worn out something like four or five CD players over the past 20 years, while my old Pioneer PL-4 turntable from 1984 still spins like a charm--despite having the most use!

  • @jannyrcobs Aint it a sham...er I mean shame.

  • Great song crappy video

  • I love this song but preferred the backstage video with the bouncing ball!! Hyah!

  • Its all about that crap that we buy from China. BUY AMERICAN !! (If you can find it)

  • Older tools especially perform better than their modern counterparts, unless you really pay for it

  • @hajode so true

  • i think you guys are missing it,,,artificial paradise

  • I sing this song a lot...with today's shoddy products, it's no wonder why.

  • @jenzeppelin Most of the products made "in the old days" were made with much more care. I hear ya!

  • @curiousgeorge555 I tend to buy whatever I can "old" instead of new... Stuff for the house, furniture, tools, etc. Hate today's shelves of cheap, plastic crap that only lasts a few runs. In the past, things were made to last because people weren't rich enough to buy something over and over and over again. A frying pan lasted. A bed was made of real wood. Oh, how I wish I had a time machine! :)

  • @jenzeppelin ditto. i buy older if i have the chance. i go to a lot of garage and estate sales. The computer stand i am typing on is an antique table painted shiney black with faded paint so you can see the undercoat, strong as an ox. crap crap crap piece of crap. many good things have developed in the "modern age of information" but many products are cheap disposables. they just want us to consume consume consume. jerks! lol sorry. anyhow at least there are a few of us around who appreciate...

  • its almost the national anthem of earth

  • @lowaces Yep.

  • awesome, thats decent!

  • @customer667788 Thanks man.

  • The new iPad can be put in this category! PIECE OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @teddybeareleventeen hahahahahaha!!

  • Jonathan Demme directed this

  • @speclester: Good one!

  • Is this a different version than the one on the album? Just wondering. This was my favorite song on the album as a kid :p

  • @Savedleech: yup different version.

  • cj, not the appliances, the dance videos hahah .

I have a special fondness for thing song, from way back

  • ...add...

  • Okay, I should that this is a brilliant video.

And probably will be the most enduring Neil song.

  • I ran out and bought the whole collection, hahaha

  • Of appliances? Did you order through a tv commercial ? lol ~cg

  • I'd really like to have this version in mp3 format or something, can ya help me out?

So i looked up this Neil Young song as soon as I could. Neil understands my rage lol.

  • Sometimes the newer = lesser quality. ~cg

  • Interesting!

  • (-; ~cg

  • This is not one of my top albums but you know how to post the best vids on you tube.Bar none!

  • Fuckin brilliant!

  • Nice to hear from you Lou! 'preciate the comment. ~cg

  • Johnny Cash Sucks

  • PANCHO!!!

  • Loud and clear. Sounds like he shares the same sentiment as Neil does. With conviction!!! ~cg

  • Excellent observations flybreath. The jones's concept is probaby in every culture to some extent. Some people see through it and try to keep themselves in check. The tech let down is a scam that is ALMOST amazing in that people buy into it. Many companies purposely make the crap to break within three years. Add to that that most of the gadgets are obsolete within six months to a year. In some respects you can't avoid it if you have to keep in step for business purposes etc...

  • kewl Geo-Don't think i've heard this version

  • graceful...Loved the ending... sweet video (agree with flybreath...). song is what it is,,,mmmm-piece of irony? Ol' Neil, always up to something:)

    1957-VERY GOOD YEAR!

  • I gotta believe that Neil made his video to this song as a piece of irony. LOL reliablebow "O'l Neil is always up to something." He sure is. He sure knows how to keep things interesting for himself. ~cg

  • I love it! All of America's homes are filled with "pieces of crap"-and they are in debt because of it!

    Nice job as always CG!

  • It would be nice if this whole financial fiasco would wake us up and return us to

    desiring Quality over Quantity. ~cg

  • We can dream, can't we?

    ;)

  • Facetious yeah (?;~cg lol Thanks EE

  • Dreaming's Free My Friend! ;)

  • "The best things in life are free"

Line by the Beatles of course. Thanks EE

    ~cg

  • "but what I can't buy I don't need" ... don't they add this line?

  • Great job cg.

  • glad you think so! ~cg

  • thanks George! i forgot about this song, thanks for sharing!

  • YW. NP. Yeah it's not a typical song that will stay in your head for a long long time like Needle or Cortez or Outa the Blue or hmmmmm about a trillion others. ~cg

  • This is great! Forgot about this song...a garage anthem...

  • You could even call it a 'garbage' anthem. Get it? Or maybe more appropriately an anti-garbage anthem.

  • cool word play ~cg
