For those who don't seem to be "in" on the joke, let me give you a working definition of irony: when you use words that seem to me one thing (face value) but the message you are conveying is the exact opposite. When they say their homosexuality was caused by anger they are oversimplifying a belief in researchers that homosexuality may be caused by repressed anger towards the same sex parent or peers.
Could be caused by overbearing parent, neglecting parent, or same sex peers who ridicule, name call, reject etc. "according to the researchers"

Why does ex-gay needs to mean being married to a woman ? Can it just mean not gay any longer.
There are a lot more to do in life apart from being married, it is not a full time job, is it ?
Looking after others, spending time in charities is more meaningful to me than just get married, everybody gets married, even jerks or gays.
I suppose ex-gays feel more secure inside because of their new conventional status but it is far from enough to be happy
I am single, I am happy, more than these 2
