Thunder and Lightining in Ontario (Oshawa) 24th August 2011

I didn't mind the night. I have also taken a video of the thunder on this day...in Toronto.

I live in Burlington and watched the storm at my workplace/nightshift. The lightning lasted for at least two hours and I saw forks spread across the whole sky sometimes coming from opposite directions. The winds were howling. On my way home in the morning there were trees/branches down everywhere and hydro crews out in force trying to restore power. What a night!
