seems a little like the bomb is THE END of Lost. A nuke would level the island... so i'm not sure how they're workin this in next season... i think it will be all about trying to prevent 'the incident'. but thats just a theory lol.

the incident is what actually happened and keep in mind that when their in the past their other version are growing up in the real world. So by them killing each other with the bomb does nothing. Their other bodies from the real world will come back to the island again. So jack didnt change anything, he continued what had already happened.

Well maybe... but lets say the bomb went off, killing everybody and everything on the island. The child versions of kate, jack etc grow up and crash on the island. There would be nobody alive there and it would be a toxic wasteland.

Plus the bomb detinating would mean desmond could never crash the plane cause there would be no hatch...  so i dont think it actually went off, but it IS the incident i agree.

Wonder what the big bright flash was...

also the "locke" who had ben kill jacob in my opinion was the guy who was talking to jacob in the beginning. he said he wanted to kill him so bad and that one day he would find a loophole. locke was the loophole

i dont think the bomb went off. i think that the pocket of energy was released and it imploded. if you remember in season 2 (or 3) when desmond turned the key (to release the energy) in the hatch (where the energy was) the EXACT same thing happened

i cried when Juliet was saying 'i love you so much' and when they let go. Then screamed with joy when she was alive down there, then my jaw dropped when she was banging the bomb, and the flash happened. I don't think the bomb went off, i think it's another time flash.

In the next season, i think they'll bring everyone (the losties) from the Swan, to the beach with everyone else.
