When I see how sick Johnny looks here, and the hell he obviously put his body through, it is nothing short of a miracle that he lived to entertain all of us until 2003. Love ya Johnny!
He may have been high as a kite, but damn, he could sing and tell a tale. Miss Johnny Cash. A new album should be out this month I think with unreleased songs for American VI. Cant wait..
@AngelaRed Yeah, gotta commend her for her patience! But love conqures everything, as they say. And he wasn't that wasted all the time, she helped straighten him up. But the drugs came back to haunt him at the end of the 1970s, according to Marshal Grant. And he was there when it happened ...
Im at the end of his biography..where he and June done the movie Gospel Road..its a real interesting story of how he lived his life..that man was lucky to have lived as long as he did..i believe it was true what June said..he was touched by God..he done so many things that could have ended his life at the time..and somehow..he survived it all..he was walking death at the time..
Wow. That was really something to watch. I read about this part of his life in his autobiography, but this is the first time I've seen him on something while performing. Still, he managed to pull off a good performance.
JC knows his shit.

Smart shows aren't allowed, it is all stupid, let sell stupid that is how people don't listen to true discussion

Good question. When did folk music disappear from TV? Now it's all shows like So You Think You Can Sing or whatever.
