  • wow thats awesome

could u tell me how u made it?? i have a project at school that requires me to build something mechanical, i would love to rock up on one of these things :D

  • How fast does it go?

  • 30+MPH

  • TNT, DYNAMITE!

  • could you use a blower

  • Like a leaf blower engine? I suppose so...

  • i like the acdc idea fix it up

  • Tanaka makes a 47cc motor called the 47R, The R stands for "race" because it has a high performance carb. sitting on a HP intake manifold. The guy (Jim) from SanDiego mini motor sports says he helped Tanaka develop it and it is unbelievable. He said it blows the doors off of the 32cc or the 40cc. It costs $350-$390. I am tempted to get it, but I 'd have to take it easy during acceleration to not tear up my belt. Den & Julia are aware of this motor.

  • Wow, I want one, thanks for the info!!!

sounds like a great deal at $350 for a race engine!!!

  • do you need a licenses to operate one

  • we ride without a license, never been stopped or questioned by the cops

  • what??! I was just at gebe and everything is right about $600 or higher. Heluva lot to keep from peddling.

  • homemade with weedeater motor is the way to go. mine costed 10 bucks. goes about 20

  • I just installed a Golden Eagle kit on my Trek bike (26 inch). I got the Tanaka 2 stroke 32cc. I can only get it up to about 29 mph with the standard gear (on level ground). I got the #14 highway gear, so I'll put it on and see if I can get a few more mph.

Also, I only went about 75 miles so far, so I guess the motor performance will improve a little after its broken in - so they say.

I'm thinking about getting a better muffler for it so it can breath better. Awesome little system though!

  • Just take it easy on break-in...you will notice a speed/mpg increase as the engine breaks in..

I would love the Tanaka 40cc

  • looks like fatty needs no motor...he needs the exercise...stupid fat yanks

  • what the hell bruce!

  • hey how much will it be

when it is converted to singapore money?

the price for the kit n shipping cost.

and can it be ship o singapore..

    really interested in buying it.

  • I'm wondering with that motor if you can buy something to make it run more quiet than it is now

  • just make a muffler, its pretty easy to do.

  • lmfao i like that thing.. i like that you can still pedal it.. you could ride that as a bike to the station fill er up and go lmfao

  • Nope..they last a long time..had one 2 yrs and still haven't replaced it...

    very stupid comment mate

  • yeah a Robin/Subaru 33.5 cc Good lil engine I had a scooter from schucks with one it was the best of them but The only thing I disliked about(zooma 4cycle) it was the dang brakes were expensive and they have to be ordered 2 weeks in adv. but thats not a fault of the engine of course. Now Ive built an ebay boygofast 80 CC'er 8 dollar brakes no chain probs

  • my engine is a 80cc does 40+ about the same as in gas mileage 150+

  • nice...what kit do you have? 40+ is a little fast on a bicycle.

  • sorry..its a honda engine...35cc

  • he has his helmut on..hehe..(i know we should all wear a helmut..he usually does) its a 35cc 4 stroke subaru engine..fastest speed is about 35 to 40 mph...150+ mpg

  • Why aren't you wearing a helmet? How many cc's does your bike's engine have? What is the fastest speed that you can get? How much gas mileage do you get with your bike?
