  • estarabim is a kind of slang word. in an example when you are smoking joint with your friends(for example 5 friends) and smoking 2 joints with opposite circles, if the joints come to you at the same time this is called "sağdan soldan estarabim"

you can believe if you want. :)

  • @kerttittiren Orphaned Land'in ortadoğu halklarının kardeşliğini önemseyen tavrını göz önüne alırsak pek ironik bir durum yok.

  • @kerttittiren Ne alakası var? Ülkücüler ile başka ülkeden insanlar dost olamıyor mu?

  • I'm from Austria. My fathers fathers' did terrible things to the jews . And they would have done so with all other peoples too. But - thank God, The Equitable - they have been stopped. And now - in a dark world of hate and violence, I am listening to Orphaned Land, with tears of joy in my eyes. May JHWH, GOD or ALLAH bless you (I think he doesn't matter how he is called ;)

  • @FlorianHumanistic There is a german director who did a film about his father who was a SS general, and today he (the director) works with Yad Va Shem, the israeli museum of holocaust, he collects as much information as he can about his father, incridible story.

If you ask me, Orphaned Land are very helpful for peace in the middle east, because of your religious way. they (in fact, we) dont care to whom you pray if you even pray, just go in peace and dont pe violent.

    peace out

  • @DoRinc100

Thanks! I just googled it... Really incredible! I like people, who try to find out, what's their history, even the less comfortable points.

Indeed Orphaned Land was able to unite at least the metalheads of the major monotheistic religions of books... It's a fucking pity we are to less to make peace but I don't think they metalheads will make war against each other... Rather drink a beer together or something ;)

  • Awesome song!!

  • The song composed and written by ERKIN KORAY. ESTARABIM has no meanings in Turkish language. It's a simple WORD joke. KORAY says "It means whatever you wish..." For the org. recording pls search: Erkin KORAY - Estarabim. Another great cover: Ünlü - Estarabim. You also would like other oriental rock songs by Erkin KORAY: Fesuphanallah, Şaşkın, Çöpçüler, Allahaşkına, Arap Saçı...etc. And, Yes Erkin KORAY is MUSLIM... with greetings from Turkiye :)

  • well, i do not think i am a secular Muslim. I am just a Muslim. But, honestly, I think anyone who preaches peace between Islam, Judaism, and Christianity should be supported. Darn these politicians who cause so much suffering and use religion to suit their agendas. They get away with what they do, while the people suffer.

  • Great point. Greetings from Poland.

  • @ohad64 not exactly. Erkin Koray is the father of the Turkish rock.

  • The vocal named Erkin Koray in this song is the father of Turkish Rock Music. And this cover is georgeus!

  • I am loving the cover, this is how the 3 great religions should live in harmony and peace.

and remember we all are humans first and foremost the only way we superior is by the quality and goodness of our actions

  • Yep, Erkin Koray is Muslim...but I think he's more of a secular muslim just like me, lol! This music is COOL
