I spent 3 years at Cannon AFB; and was never more excited than when I drove off that post for the last time, and across the Texas border 20 minutes later.

I live in Clovis now, grew up here as a kid and hated it, but it's a good place to raise my kids. I agree that airmen (especially single ones) will not like it here. There is absolutely NO nightlife (unless you never get sick of dinner, movies, and the one half-way decent bar in town). Welcome to the Bible Belt? :/

ugh! clovis nm...that is crazy, i lived there for a couple of years...it sucks really really bad. the 2nd largest zoo?! are you kidding me?! it takes about 30 minutes to walk the length of that zoo Twice! i hate clovis...please don't make me go back there!
