Although the vast majority by volume of the outer gas giants is, of course, gas, deep inside there is a cold liquid/ice mantle made primarily of water, ammonia, and methane and within that is a rock and ice core. So if you were able to withstand the enormous pressures you could in fact "land" on something if you went deep enough....but for all practical purposes given today's technology, it's unreachable. But video is not of Uranus certainly.

@QuantumUni no one really can know for sure what underneath the surface of these "gas giants" because no one has tried to land on them. we might be suprised to find only a thick atmosphere(its possible!) and a solid surface underneath.

uranus has no hills. its a gas giant like jupiter, neptune, saturn, and this planet. if the clouds weren't there, it would be a rock the size of our earth because the only rock on that planet is the core.

Not quiet, you see, it's not the gravity that's the problem... it's the ferosious wind speeds! Sure it's not as fierce as Neptune, but it could rip the flesh off your bones any day! Besides, the gravity is not much more than Mars, 0.86 g.

you can actually see this planet at night with your very own eyes. no telescope, no binoculars, nothing. Uranus is a bright tiny green dot. you can even see mars without anything, a tiny reddish-orange dot.
