  • If you had problems with the pen, you could've filmed after you got a better one, instead of posting retarded crap like this. Seriously, even the way you hold the pen is wrong.

  • OBAMAAA!

  • I think it's cool that you attempted this. Ignore the negative crap.

  • Sorry, I just read your answers to other posts. OK, you had problems with the pen and you had only one hand to write. Don't hate me for my former post...

  • Oh, for gods sake... It hurts me, while i'm watching. Are you lefthanded, normally? Please, keep on searching for your talents. It's not writing... Sorry

  • Bring similar comments.

  • It is an embarrassment, you should take it down, because it I'll only continue to brimn

  • Carved out, and this person REALLY needs to learn how to both hold a pen and write in cursive. These are the marks a 3 year old child would make with what you have called a feather "quill." Basically, this does much more to detract from the world of using a feather quill than it does to glamorize or make it desirable.

  • @Brussells44 You really should see my cursive when I write with a better pen, it's really good because I use my fingertips more than my wrists.

  • @aspie101 You're not supposed to use your fingertips or your wrists to write. You're supposed to use your forearm and shoulder.

  • @aspie101

You should see my works, when I use a broken toothpick. Still better than that. I don't want to insult you, but why did you post this vid?

  • @aspie101 Just using your fingertips more than your wrists isn't a valid point to make... My cursive is has been described as shakespearean and I very rarely move my fingers or wrist... I've always been told the "propper" way to write is one, holding a pen correctly, and two it comes from your forearm and shoulders... Cursive is much easier coming from the shoulders.

  • @aspie101 using your fingers isn't what makes good cursive... I've always been taught to write from the shoulders and forearm. Cursive is much easier and neater to achieve coming from the shoulders, and very rarely moving your fingers/ wrist.

  • The feather is much to small to do anyone much good, the nib/ tip needs to be formed/carved o

  • @Brussells44 I did make the nib, the only problem was that the feather might have been too dry when I made the nip, so it cracked in several places. However, I am having better luck with reeds.

  • Perhaps you should try writing with your dominant hand. That usually helps when I have a problem like this

  • WTF ?!? this is terrible handwritting a heres a good tip when making a quill pen U DONT JUST GET THE FEATHER AND WRITE WITH IT go online and look up what a nib looks like and cut one in it.......i have made around 30 and sold them ! Excellent quality pens but my god seriously just do some research on it before attempting..

  • @ForgottenGuardian546 I did make the nib, I just hate the sound of the scratches. Plus I had to hold the camera and I could think of nothing to write about.

  • I think the reason the writing isnt as good is because he doesn't have both hands to use, he has one hand using camera, and the other to write. Without his nonwriting hand to hold down the paper, its tougher to be legible.

  • where do you get the ink?

  • It depends on what quality you want. You could buy good calligraphy ink from Micheals, Hobby Lobby, or Barns and Noble.

  • Awful handwrting!!!

  • What are you 5

  • I was bored at the time. Besides, it was somewhat difficult to get a good grip with that pen since its shaft wasn't as thick as that of a quill made from a flight feather of a larger bird.

  • YEAH!!!! That is AWFUL HANDWITING!!!! That is NOT the pen, because I use them every day!!!!

  • It was a flight feather from a pigeon and it was cracked. Also, I have problems with the scratches. However, I do have good handwriting in both print and in cursive. I have also used pens made from cattail reeds. Judging by your comment, I can tell that you are either immature, or a troll. If you are the latter, I will block you.

  • @aspie101 I'm very mature, but I'm not a troll. I did not know that you had problems with the pen, I'm very sorry.

  • @wolfandunicornriders Don't worry, your comment is nothing compared to others. Besides, the feather had some cracks since it was too dry. Recently I am using cattail reeds as pens with some pretty good results.

  • Your very sloppy

  • thats what she said

  • @PianoBoy813 You're very sloppy with your grammar.

  • Staples

  • LoL Obama in the backround. HeHe. And writing with a quill seems hard. And where did you buy your ink? I want to get some!

  • same! where do i get ink?

  • For good calligraphy ink, you would need to go to Marshall's, Hobby Lobby, or Barns and Noble.
