The fact is, PRIDE HAD TO ACCEPT IT, because they were on their last legs anyway. Pride never pioneered anything, the UFC did. Do you know nothing about MMA?

@MattSingh1 Right it was formed in 1997 around the time the UFC wasn't nowhere near as big as it is now so Pride was holding the crown as the biggest MMA org in the world up until about 2006 then the UFC was finally going super mainstream by then it became a big Org over Pride then. But one thing is Pride never died and it was bigger then the UFC back then.
