  • Wow... Just about to buy one in 2 days... SE with sport package. I see yours has the ford touch option.... Mine doesn't and I wish you could have given a tutorial on the hard button version because it looks tough to figure out... I will get the basics fairly quickly but probably will never know what its 100% capable of... In all though great vid! Keep em coming!

  • And oh yeah, interior looks amazing! Very high quality. With the new Opel Astra, probably the best in it's class.

  • Very detailed tour, just what I was looking for. Thanks, great video.

  • good review , though i don`t really see the obsession with having everything soft plastic, the top of the dash? , your not gonna sleep on it, the tail gate? it does seem to be screwed together well though, thanks for uploading.

  • Great review. I will get my with the premium and handling package also platinum tri-coat and white interior. Very cool.

  • shit man !!

still confused between new hyundai elantra or the new ford focus !!

  • WOW we are talking about Interiors when Ford has MULTIPLE mechanical issues? LOL what good is a decent interior if the car wont run? LOL Transmission slipping, Front end failure, Window leaks, Mytouch a DISASTER.. But tell me just how soft those seats are.. I guess they come in handy when you are sitting on the side of the road waiting for AAA

  • @carmencolumbusohio are u jelly???

  • This is essentially a German made vehicle. And for the price you pay. It's hard to believe your getting a car with such an amazing quality fit and finish. Much better then your typical Honda or scion.

  • i am so in love with this car :)

  • i love how you compare everything to volkswagen, because I come from a volkswagen family (gti, jetta, beetle, cc, touareg, phaeton), thus i also com are everything to volkswagen quality and attention.

  • @1alex1m compare*

  • I love your videos! Thanks so much for taking the time to do this!!!

  • Well I have a 2012 focus and no problems at all gets excellent mpg without spending big bucks for an hybrid or electric .

It shifts smooth and is quiet have to look at speedometer more because I find my self speeding and can't tell like I could with my old car.

Every car company has problem cars I had a friend with a new Mercedes and the power steering pump was faulty.

I had a golf and it had cold start problems and surging idle

  • It does look nice, it will make a fantastic paperweight in about 4 years.

  • Thanks for the insider look. I'm surprised at the good quality of the interior

  • Drove the 2011 Ford Focus from San Fran to LA and back this summer so I had an excellent opportunity to review this car. Based on design alone, this car is arguably one of the best in class - however, if you consider how handsome the exterior AND interior is, it is easily THE best in class OVERALL based on design alone. The drive and performance, however, absolutely sucked compared to the Honda Civic 2011. The auto transmission was indecisive and harsh. All show no go, unfortunately.

  • @lordshin73 @lordshin73 i dont see how the driving and performance sucked to the honda civic when multiple auto critics like car and driver, motortrend and edmunds put the focus on top in every category. 2011 civic non-SI is sluggish

  • Nice video cover your license plate on your car.

  • do you know anything/have any prefrences when it comes to small suvs... Specifically the ford edge... And if you know anyone who has a ford edge do you think you could try to do video on your initial thoughts about it?

  • Very good review, the guy seems young but does a better job than other reviewers

  • This vid definitley answers alot of my ???'s about the interior. American cars have always hjad a rep for shitty interiors but this focus looks awesome. Had a question about fuel economy. What RPM does it sit at for 60mph? Also can u reach higher gas mileages than the 40 that ford states it to have.

Also is the 2.0l engine strong and responsive? Does it feel weak or underpowered. Answers would greatly be appreciated.

  • @homeboyskilletfresh Drove on interstate for 75 miles and 55 mphs. Got 47 mpgs. They say 55 mph is the optimum gas mileage. Since I do travel interstate quite a bit I figure when I'm not in a rush getting 47 mpgs is worth it.

  • oh wow you found a 3-lane change feature - a feature from the VW Group in their cars 10 years ago (customizable to 3-4-5 blinks via MFI), who's jetta you "hate"

  • @tuolumne9 I hate the new Jetta for the U.S. market, my mom has a 2010 Jetta and that car is great...but you just keep up those negative comments, getting pretty tired of it...not like I can block you or anything, oh wait...I can

  • Meh, looks like the Golf focuses better on every surface having sufficient attention to detail, i.e. refinement and quality. I mean don't get me wrong, this is nice, but there's a reason Europe buys more Golfs, and still regards this as a nice runner up at best. The Gols is the real thing, the vaunted benchmark - no matter what the glitz and glamor this focus may have.

  • get a golf or wait till the cruze hatchback, this new ford focus is a big pile of rubbish

  • do not buy this car if you are in Australia or the uk you are getting jibbed, the american models, sorry i just finished watching the video, do not listen do what this man is saying , he is an idiot go buy a polo or golf you will thank yourself in the long run, If in austrlia listen to this in a equivalent titanium model in the us you get leather seats my ford touch ( big 8 inch screen) , reversing camera and a whole lot more in australia however you get none of this for a hefter price Ford GTFO

  • what brand tires does this car have

  • @Dabito827 Continental ContiProContact, P215/50R17

  • Wow! Low materials, low quality on this Focus. In my opinion, this car is well beyond Golf or new i30.

  • Didn't motorweek name the jetta best small car of 2011?

  • @applesmnch2 No.

  • @gardmans1 I only put the new Jetta up sort of high because I like the TDI and the DSG and the fact that there's gonna be a GLI version, but yeah otherwise it's a terrible car compared to the old one

  • @gardmans1 Where do you put the new Jetta in that list? Mine's in this order: Focus, Mazda3 (only because it's so fun to drive), Elantra, Cruze, Jetta, Civic, Corolla (Sentra and Lancer are also bottom feeders lol)

  • @gardmans1 The Cruze is a decent enough car and that's about it as far as I'm concerned. I think it's a dated old person car...I mean compared to the Cobalt it's great, but that still doesn't make it fun to drive or fun to look at when you look when you compare it to the Focus. I think it's the perfect car for compact car shoppers who are looking for a quiet "nice" feeling compact car that don't care at all about styling or having any fun behind the wheel.

  • very nice focus.. do you still have your milan??

  • @joeyz2k thanks! My brother drives the Milan now

  • U do great videos man. I love each one. U really go to the limit with them. Great job. I think it would be nice if ford had a chirp when locking and unlocking the car using the door Handel like most cars do.

  • I really like the new Focus, but it sucks for me that the Titanium is automatic only.

  • How much extra would the premium package have been and what all did it come with?

  • @WannabeSS the Premium package is $1,295 on the Titanium and $1,395 on SEL...it includes: leather interior, 6-way power driver's seat, rear seat center armrest with cup holders, auto-dim rear view mirror, reverse sensing, 17" alloys (SEL), and rain-sensing wiipers

  • Nice review

  • YES!!!!!!!.... You use the handbrake. If you could also do a video about the engine, that would be nice. Thanks.

  • Please if you can do a review on the transmission and how it feels while driving city/highway

  • @1RaVeN1FTW yeah I plan on doing a transmission review

  • Is this a Hatchbak or a Sedan?

  • @GamerAndReviewer this is a sedan

  • My '11 Explorer does the 3-blink for lane changes, too. One cool thing about the Explorer is that there is no mechanical lock on the turn signal stalk, so it will stay in the middle. The quality has improved about 15 fold to some older Fords (Like my Mom's '05 Explorer)!

  • very good video!

is all that metal in there real? like on the steering wheel, on the shifter, and around that a/c vent

  • @falaqdad15 no none of that's real, but the finish on it is pretty nice and doesn't feel like cheap painted car like a lot of cars are packed full of lol...it doesn't creak or feel like lousy plastic

  • i like your new focus man. just wanna add since its the 1st year its out it could possible have a flaw or recall. its a clean sheet. but deffinately a nice car and u know i love ford lol

  • @northsiderollers haha yes, so far so good considering it's a brand new 2012 model...if it's unreliable, I can just pitch it after the lease, but I seriously might buy it if it proves to be reliable because I love it so much!

  • @mercmilan06 its a nice car. if i want something new, smaller, economical with some looks to it. this and the fiesta are perfect!
