@MustangMarck Both of those sigle turbos started spolling at 3700 rpms while I start spooling at 2100 reac full boost by 4300rpms redline at 7500. So even with higher hp they still lost why? LAG=trhottle response no doubt eventually they would catch me but it was to late

Well with two turbos you have to spool them both with the same amount of force, it's like trying to drive 2 cars at once. It's possible, but harder than just driving one. Haha!

@MustangMarck Wrong, a small displacement motor does better with decent size twins than a huge single. the huge single has higher hp potential for drag racing. look at a dyno sheet and watch the power band

I'm an ASE certified Mechanic in Houston, TX where the TX 2K Supra events are held, I've done modifications in my spare time to my old Supra and have experience in the field of racing, so I know my statement is correct.. And yes, I have tested it on a dyno with my old Supra in '06.

@MustangMarck U being an ASE mechanic means nothing as it pertains to aftermarket performance. It just means you can read an OBD2 scanner well and change oil. Your statement is not true period when you run two smaller twins you get better throttle response and powerband. I know twin gt2860 spool faster than a single sp74 on the same motor period. The single turbo set up is easier to deal with and based on the size you can ultimately make more power. I have race two 70mm supras and beat both
