@russmckinley Really, you would never in a million years say that to his face...why does the internet make people say insulting things on slight whims
@hexcane What they did during WWII says nothing about what they were doing in 1995. Countries can do the right thing then later do the wrong, it's very much possible.
The planet has reversed its course since A.D. 2000. We're now into a cooling phase as determined by a decrease in the sun's output. Climate is in perpetual flux. This is why tropical fossils are found in the tundra. The global-warming coalition is one of eugenics. The implementation of carbon credits and carbon taxes will mean the deaths of 1,000 million Human Beings in the first ten years as the price of western-grown grain will escalate.
I have to say I do sometimes wonder if he were unattractive and had some kind of high-pitched cockney voice whether I would spend quite so much time watching (and rewatching) his videos on youtube. Of course I wouldn't. These unpleasant truths have to be faced!
I find it ironic that the folks who ridicule the worship of God in religion are so often making worshipping comments towards Christopher Hitchens. Oh, you're not against worshipping per se, just as long as it's an atheist and not God.
To sum up Hitchens' philosophical view towards God:
@ransomdave It's kind of hard to believe you'd write a book and give hundreds of speaking engagements merely on, "There is no God, but if there was..."
It'd be like saying, "There really is no globalist elite New World Order, but if there was..." and then writing a book about it.
Me thinks thou dost protest too much about a "non-existent God".
You're missing the point. Generally his books and lectures concerning this topic are about the dangers of religion and blind faith to society, not about how much he dislikes the idea of a particular God.
It's not so much "There is no God, but if there was...", but "There is no God, and the sooner we all realize this the better".
@ransomdave I'm well aware of Hitchens' stated concerns and beliefs. Religion is the cause of most if not all evil in the world, Mother Theresa is on the paid staff of Satan, and there were WMDs in Iraq and probably Iran too. He's very outspoken. I just happen to disagree with him. I sympathize with him and his battle with cancer. It's very sad.
People acting atheistically (as beasts of the jungle), by definition, commit all violent crimes.

Malignant cells are errant trophoblasts (healing cells/new-life cells/pre-embryonic cells). The healing process can only be checked with Amygdalin; the molecularity of which is hydrogen cyanide, benzaldahyde and glucose (sugar).
Ben Stein on Bosnia "I have no idea what to do..." I know Ben, follow your own advice and go to Hollywood to be an actor. After all its the best job in the world, isn't it.
@Harmonyww lmao same, I usually have his videos on even on topics that I don't give a shit or just as background while I do other stuff completely distracted! As you said he is a joy to listen to!
Ben Stein should stick to doing clear eye commercials.

I think you've got it slightly wrong. From what I can make out it seems that Hitchen's philosophical view towards God is something more like this:
There is no God, but if there was, and it was the God described within the Bible I'd hate him for reasons A, B and C...
