You should never be afraid people will make fun of you. I get a lot of grief at times about my vocals as well. I don't sing and put videos up for others, though. I do it because it's something I love to do. And if you enjoy it, then it shouldn't matter what others think. :) I'll check it out as soon as I'm done responding to all these comments.
this girl has natural talent and picked a great song to sing. In time i can imagine her on stage and with make up. keep working towards refinement and im sure you could find a band that would love to have you sing lead.

That's an interesting tip about jogging and singing. I will keep that in mind once Winter is over. My mom's ex boyfriend had a stereo that had an option to play just the music and not the words. I would like to find something like that. It's just too much work to try and find the karaoke versions of every single song I love to sing.
Unfortunately, at that point I could not help the vacuum cleaner sound. ): See, my cam is very sensitive, and the computer I was using is very loud since it has five fans. I no longer have that PC and I have not gotten around to singing again yet. So we'll see what happens to that sound.
Yeah, that's what I was talking about with my mic being highly sensitive. That's why I have to stand in the other room, and it still ends up being really loud, when it wasn't all that loud in actuality.
