  • thanks

  • excellent asthetics...although i find the subject material far more interesting! Any history on the facility ie, when it ceased to operate? Do you think it was used for some other purpose other than torpedo testing?

    Excellent !!

  • @shotfirer1972 I think it's always been a torpedo testing station, there's some more info on the secret scotland website on the description if you want a read. A German spy was killed in WW2 for visiting there.

  • do use a filter to get the vignette or is that edited in with Premier Pro?

  • @bjazzo02 I use Magic Bullet Looks for most of the visual colour grading and vignette which is a plugin for Premiere Pro :)

  • the second scene from 0:15 was epic in my eyes :)

like the intro to a film or a documentary - love the chilled out feel of the whole video though - im guessing youve done quiet afew video editing effects though

very impressed with the Panasonic SD60 footage - seems since i bought my "apparently" HD videocam technologys improved ;)

  • @dannyday58218195 Yeah the Panasonic SD60 is considered a budget camera as well but it really is pretty good for what it is! Appreciate the comment Danny and yeah I did do quite a bit of editing ;)

  • Nicely filmed.

  • How do you do the left to right tracking shots? Do you have a dolly or a steadycam device?

  • @Cyberdyne4000 I bought an Indislidermini so I can attach it to my tripod and slide it along.

  • @AbandonedScotland Thanks. They are very smooth shots. Good colours and composition. Good work.

  • These videos are great. They're like beautiful silent documentaries -- riveting.

  • I stayed at Loch Long Hotel in Arrochar in 2010 wish I knew this was there.

    Excellent Film 5/5

    Tam

  • Very interestig and good pictures.

  • Really nice work, i think some of these would make for great stills

  • nice : how do you research the locations / find them

  • @thewebcompany I have various sources to be honest, although the best way of finding places is usually just through word of mouth or browsing various websites :)

  • Excellent work. Love the location and shots!

  • Very very good.

  • Great video. Excellent montage. Wonderful place. Nothing else to say. Thanks for adding me as friend, I will enjoy every second of every video you share. If only there were places like that in my area... :) PS: The station reminds me of Half-Life 2's Route Kanal.

  • Amazingly shot. Seems like it's gone even further downhill since I visited. Perfect soundtrack too!

  • There are no words to describe this place.

I need definitely to invest some time and money to capture wonderful places like this.

    Keep sharing mate.

  • @qwertyuu98 Thanks for the comment, there will be plenty more videos to come :)

  • Nice work, enjoyed the way you captured these shots. More info on the history of the torpedo range can be found on arrochar and tarbet heritage site :)

  • @jaseanddi Thanks and there is some brilliant history surrounding the station for those who are interested :)
