Top metal band!!! Was mad on these Guys! Saw them loads of times all over England in 1980/81. Mainly as a support act for Motorhead, Saxon, Priest Etc! Kevin J. Riddles (Skids) would always point me out in the crowd & say a few words. Had Extermination Day dedicated to me at Manchester Apollo! Top times! Was chillin' back stage with them before & after gig in tiny club in Liverpool. Day Vogg (drums) was a real top bloke. Still got a set of Bass strings, drum stick & plecks of the lads. Awesome!!

this is the first song i ever heard by angelwitch...this kids older bro had a mix tape of heavy metal songs taped directly from records we had no idea who sang what songs cause they werent written down..we used to listen to it alot side a and side b..other bands on the tape were diamond head, raven, saxon, ufo, motorhead, priest, maiden, krokus, leppard, anvil, venom, riot, accept, fist, tygers of pantang..etc..

Awesome song & thanks for posting it! It kind of reminds me of Purgatory by Maiden or should I say the other way around seeing how this song came out before Killers did.... Kind of like Exciter by Priest as well hence the picture I guess? Angel Witch kicks total ass & you can hear that they had a BIG influence on early Metallica & Megadeth.

At one time Angel Witch Had a Guitarist named Rob Downing. Could there be a connection to J.P.'s K.K. Downing? The time frame is correct and they are both British.
