  • Che meravigliosa ! Muzio was the only serious rival that the great Rosa Ponselle had among the Italian sopranos in the 1920's. What a beautiful tone and timbre she possessed.An no one could convey such feeling and emotion with her voice and phrasing like Muzio.Please check out her 1935 rendition of "Addio del passato" here on YT. Absolutely the best. Heartbreaking.And she was already past her prime in 1935.Tante grazie lido for sharing this with us Muzio aficionados.Brava Muzio!

  • A wonderful Muzio performance. She's really in her element: beautiful tonal color and shading, instinctive sense of phrasing, pure legato, florid technique, dramatic expression, interpretive skill. What an artist!
